00:34The post was read at Bukit Aman's Cybercrime and Multimedia Investigation Division in Manara
00:40KPJ at 10 a.m. the following day.
00:43The charge was made under Section 233, Subsection 1A of the Communications and Multimedia Act
00:501998, and punishable under Section 233, Subsection 3 of the same law.
00:57The accused who was unrepresented faces a maximum fine of 500,000 ringgit or imprisonment for
01:04a term not exceeding two years or both upon conviction, and may be fined a further 5,000
01:11ringgit for each day or part of a day the offence continues after conviction.
01:16Judge Norma Ismail allowed bail of 10,000 ringgit with one surety and ordered the accused to
01:23report to a police station once a month pending disposal of the case.
01:28The court set July 17th for mention.
