00:00So Dennis, how does it feel to have the support of the majority of councillors this evening?

00:06Humbled to hear, to get people who've said what they've said, or sorry, for people to say what they've said has been humbling.

00:18I've had so many good wishes from people right across the political spectrum, officers, members of the public,

00:26taking the time and trouble to ring me, to email me, to message me, and yes, it's an element of relief,

00:34but I was always hoping that just common sense will prevail.

00:38And going forward, what can the people of Peterborough expect from your administration?

00:42I think just the same collegiate, cooperative approach. There's no triumphalism from me.

00:49Nobody's got the monopoly on wisdom. I'm pleased that this alliance, coalition, calling what you will, failed,

01:00not because of any personal antipathy against anybody. I just feel that we're on the right track,

01:06and I want to take everybody, all 60 councillors, with me, with this administration,

01:13for the thing we're all elected to do, which is for the people of Peterborough.
