00:00We have severely malnourished children who are susceptible to disease.
00:06We think that there is every likelihood if aid doesn't get in quickly
00:13that we'll be in the situation of famine probably in the autumn.
00:17We are working with the Egyptians and the Jordanians to medically evacuate children as and when we can.
00:24It's really difficult.
00:26The only answer is to get aid in but even the UN now when it can get some access is finding it difficult
00:35because the desperation and the hunger that there is in the population there means that it's keeping order is very, very difficult
00:42and if you're starving and there's a truck of food, I would loot.
00:47Who wouldn't if you need to feed your child?
00:50So I think the situation is really, it's dire.
00:57We are keeping, we've made it very, very clear.
