00:00Maybe we'll run into Yelta in this takeout.
00:02Well, I would be so lucky if I saw you again.
00:05I'm going to be there.
00:06I'm looking forward to it.
00:07I will get you on the Amtrak.
00:08I will definitely be there, for sure.
00:10Thank you, sir.
00:12My question to you regarding the aid, it's been since the 1st of August, since envoy
00:18Witkoff went in to survey the situation and basically come up with some sort of a conclusion
00:24on the aid situation, how you allow more aid in.
00:27One, did he submit, has he submitted yet an assessment on what should be done?
00:34And second, I think it was raised just a little while ago here, is there a consensus that the
00:43centers should be increased, considering that the four centers now came to replace 400 centers.
00:50So if you could share with us any new information on this, we'd appreciate it.
00:56Well, I can tell you that Special Envoy Witkoff and Ambassador Huckabee, they did, they spent
01:01hours inside Gaza to assess the situation, as you've noted.
01:05Witkoff and Huckabee saw firsthand the incredible and important work of the GHF, what they're
01:10doing to provide assistance to civilians.
01:12Again, I think we're close to 120 million is the new number for GHF.
01:18During the visit, both were briefed on the regrettable dynamic of UN assistance trucks getting looted
01:26upon entry into Gaza.
01:28Keep in mind, you know, they went there, the President wanted a firsthand report of what
01:33was happening.
01:34We're all reliant on, and your work is always very good, mostly, about what's happening on
01:39the ground.
01:40But getting reports in directly from individuals was important to him.
01:44I can also tell you, which is I don't think reported in the news, civilians in Gaza thanked
01:49the United States for providing assistance to the GHF, which they receive at no cost, obviously.
01:54I think we presume that, but to confirm, at no cost, compared to the UN assistance, which,
02:01when it is not stolen or looted, is then subject, many of you might know, or perhaps you do, is
02:07subject to extortionary taxes by Hamas authorities.
02:15President Trump wants to alleviate the suffering of the people in Gaza at the hands of Hamas
02:19because he's a humanitarian.
02:21We're seeing this in him, frankly, his commitment to the country exposes that to us as well.
02:27And he has committed to remaining involved and helping to facilitate the aid situation
02:35to build upon GHF's work and to help Gazans obtain the critical access to food and aid that
02:41they need.
02:42And I would say that it is GHF and the President and many others, including at this podium, calling
02:50for more people to participate in this process.
02:53Just a quick follow-up, if you'll allow me.
02:56The White House said that they inherited this Gaza war from the Biden administration and
03:01so on, and that Hamas just refuses whatever suggestion that's been submitted to it.
03:08Is this an indication that the administration is actually pulling its hand out of being involved
03:13in any future negotiations?
03:14MS.
03:15No.
03:16I think it's an indication of a transparent government that shares things with the American
03:21people in the world when it comes to their opinion.
03:23President Trump has been the best example of that.
03:26And then we're watching the nature of the choices they make.
03:29It's clear with Ambassador Huckabee and Special Envoy Whitcoff that visit, the nature of the
03:37President's continued remarks are remaining in play in that region when it comes to stopping
03:44the carnage, the carnage, getting the ceasefire, ending all of this, enough to where people
03:49do begin to wonder, all right, what's next?
03:52Now, we're not going to wonder about that until the carnage ends, but the fact that for the first time in
03:59generations, people are asking, what is next?
04:05What can we do?
04:06Who will be in charge?
04:08How is that going to look?
04:10Now, again, we're not going to engage in that or answer it.
04:12But the fact that it can be asked tells you how far President Trump has moved this motion
04:17here.
04:18What we're doing, everybody.
04:19Let's take care.
04:20We're good at the carnage.
04:21doin's.
04:22That's it, definitely not.
04:23Their as with democracy.
04:24That's a good idea.
04:25It can be asked.
04:25Let's take care, Sarah.
04:26Otherwise, there was a cow,OUt, Monica.
04:28But indeed it was not an advantage.
04:30Because of this
04:31and the Humane yet very well throughout arena in Britain,
04:45it was known as people live in America.
