00:00how she has the brass neck to claim she's got it under control
00:02when the numbers when the numbers crossing the channel this year are the highest in history
00:10she asked about the rwanda deterrent i'll repeat she obviously wasn't listening to what i said
00:15earlier the rwanda scheme never started and when and where and indeed illegal immigrants in calais
00:22said they were order order just do it i want to question and i'm sure our constituents want to
00:31hear the question and the answer christine thank you mr speaker the rwanda scheme never started
00:37illegal immigrants in calais were saying before the election how much they wanted the prime minister
00:42to get elected because he would help them here when australia started a similar scheme about 10
00:48years ago it worked within a few months now mr speaker as a consequence of the government losing
00:54control they are now accommodating growing numbers of illegal immigrants many of whom cross the channel
00:59in asylum hotels and flats the home offices suppliers are now actively offering above market deals to
01:08landlords to get hold of their properties to be used for illegal immigrants in the meantime hard-pressed
01:15young people here are unable to rent or buy so why is this government right why is this government
01:21prioritizing housing for illegal immigrants above housing for our young people
01:25so again mr speaker i gently say to the right honourable member opposite that under their watch
01:33immigration increased fourfold until it reached almost a million in a single year
01:38they also created the backlog 400 hotels which we've reduced to just over 200 hotels in the first 12
01:47months of us being in government mr speaker one million pound a day spiffed up the wall because they
01:54were so incompetent we're building the homes that they failed to deliver over 14 years of consecutive
02:01failure by their government they should apologize while we get on with a job of rebuilding britain
02:06goodness me she's got a cheek housing starts in quarter four last year went down
02:13her mission to rebuild britain is not going very well she talks about asylum hotels she obviously hasn't
02:18looked at the most recent numbers the number of people in asylum hotels was higher in march this year
02:23than it was at the time of the last election and she gave no answer about the priority being given
02:29to illegal immigrants over people living here already now mr speaker a zimbabwean paedophile
02:35due for deportation was recently allowed to stay in the uk because a court found he might face quote
02:42some hostility back in zimbabwe apparently breaching his article 3 rights what about the rights of
02:49children here to be protected from this dangerous pedophile who's looking out for their rights not the
02:54government there are thousands of cases like this involving foreign criminals so there is a solution we
03:00need to scrap the human rights act for immigration matters so this sovereign parliament decides on
03:06the law our courts apply but her party voted against that so i have a simple question why did the
03:13government side with foreign criminals and not the british public well again mr speaker they have 14
03:21years of failure on these issues we've also included 4 500 foreign national offenders that have been
03:29deported since we came into office mr speaker more than they did in the same period i take no lectures
03:36from the johnny come lately who couldn't do anything when he was in office
