00:05but is it going to matter in the long run?

00:08Well, look, I mean, there's a difference between will it matter in the playoffs

00:12and will it matter overall.

00:15The gap between the Dodgers and the Giants and the Padres and the D-backs

00:21is not as big as odds makers want you to believe.

00:24You see those numbers right there?

00:25The gap from a playing standpoint in the regular season is nowhere near that big.

00:30That's ridiculous to go from that price to the other one with two-and-a-half games

00:35or three-and-a-half games separating two teams.

00:37That's insane, right?

00:39Like those numbers are just not accurate.

00:41So, yeah, is there value on taking the Giants, Padres, or whoever

00:45to try and steal the division?

00:47Sure there is.

00:48I think absolutely there is.

00:49What does it mean for October?

00:51That's a different conversation because the Dodgers are loaded for bear in October

00:56and they have everything you need in October, depth and pitching

00:59and starting pitching and relief and bullpen.

01:00They can hit and they have all those things.

01:02So, getting through the MLB playoffs is a different conversation

01:05when you talk about the gap between these teams

01:08and what they actually are during the regular season.

01:10San Francisco could steal this division.

01:12There's a world where they can.

01:13I don't think that they will,

01:14but I certainly don't think those numbers are reflective

01:16about how close the teams are.
