16:26this year's world cup finals but these last group matches hardly ever are you can never really bank on
16:33the last group matches in a four match round robin series being thrillers unless there's a side got
16:43plenty to play for well here both teams are through and Romania likely to win the group
16:51or it's going to be worked out after we've got the result of the game in san francisco so

17:07as the USA try and create something but Romania more than happy to come on the counter had you you

19:24will not be taking its place in the last 16
19:42well there have been one or two occasions when an alarming amount of stoppage time have been added
19:47this is one of them this is one of them four minutes
19:54and insisting for the Romanians to get on with things our Dutch referee continues to
20:01play more time there have been one or two stoppages but I think four and a half minutes is slightly excessive
20:08I'm sure there's one or two Americans in the crowd who will be bemused about all that
20:20the proceedings are drawn to a close then by Mario van der Rente
20:25it's Romania who win the match by one goal to nil and they qualify from Group A along with
20:34Switzerland and the USA they all three will qualify for sure
20:40and relief really for the Romanians they've done their job and they've come away with a victory
20:48it may not have been the most pulsating encounters but it was very informative and
20:54it taught us that the Switzerland defeat for Romania was a clear one-off they're a very well
21:00organized and disciplined side and they deserve to progress through to the second phase
21:06can the USA bounce back they're in the last 16 they've achieved more than many expected final score
