00:00Here is Connor McDavid. We'll start with him. He knows and understands, it looks like, the pressure that is on him to win the cup.
00:07Connor, you're the greatest player in the world. How much extra pressure is there for you to win this game and drag it back to Edmonton and win a Stanley Cup?
00:19That's a pretty heavy question. I don't think about it that way.
00:24You know, if you think about it that way, you'd be probably pretty crippled in terms of how you prepare and how you play.
00:34Why's that?
00:35It's a big game. Everybody knows that. I know that.
00:39And I'm looking forward to it. It's fun hockey. It's been a fun series to be a part of.
00:47Yeah, the cup will be in the building. Those games are what you dream of.
00:52Obviously, it's not for us, but anytime the cup's in the building and you're playing, it's a good sign.
00:58Yeah, I got to tell you, that's a weak answer. Here's the deal.
01:02Lemieux, he went out and just did it.
01:06Crosby went out and just did it.
01:08Patrick Kane went out and did it.
01:10So did Jonathan Taves.
01:12Eisenman went out and did it.
01:14Patrick Waugh went out and did it.
01:16I could go on and on for an hour talking about this of teams and great players that just go get it.
01:24They just like, it's, this is mine.
01:27I'm winning.
01:28I'm not having this.
01:30And you remember the one clip they show of Sullivan in the Penguins locker room that they show in these clips this year at the Stanley Cup playoffs?
01:37He's like, enough of this already.
01:38Let's just finish this.
01:42Like, this guy, I cannot believe my eyes that this guy's not going to win a Stanley Cup.
01:49I can't believe it.
01:51Because you know what?
01:51They have shut his ass down.
01:53He has been utterly worthless.
01:56I mean, let's just get real.
01:58One goal and one nice assist.
02:00Six assists in the Stanley Cup finals.
02:03I mean, Bennett does more when he's sleeping.
02:07Bennett has more points asleep than McDavid does in the finals.
02:12And then you can't even question it.
02:14Drysaddle's been the best player.
02:17But Florida's got several guys that are playing better than both of them.
02:22Marchand is one of them.
02:23Reinhardt's another.
02:25And, you know, I mean, let's face it.
02:27Verhage hasn't done anything in this series.
02:29He's had like one goal, right?
02:30Like, all these other guys have done way more.
02:34And it is astonishing to me that Conor McDavid is now, I'm going to start saying it,
02:40the most overrated, greatest player in the world.
02:45He's overrated.
02:46He's faster.
02:47He's better.
02:48He's more talented.
02:48He's got everything.
02:49But he doesn't win.
02:50He doesn't win it.
02:51He doesn't win it.
02:52He is not winning the Stanley Cup.
02:54You can smell it, right?
02:56And if he gets it done, then what?
02:59I'm not going to sit here and go, I told you all along.
03:01I've lost faith in him because I was on him the whole season.
03:05I thought the guy was going to get the Stanley Cup.
03:06He's that good.
03:07But apparently, he's not.
03:10He's done nothing in this series.
03:12Let's stop with all this.
03:14Like, you're the greatest player in the world.
03:16What's it like to have this kind of pressure on you?
03:18Well, it's awful, actually, because I never get it done.
03:21That's what he should have said.
03:22I mean, he never gets it done.
03:26He won't be back in the Stanley Cup finals next year either.
03:29They're not going three years in a row.
