All Wednesday: It's crazy for one club when you look how football's going

On this week's edition of All Wednesday we look back on our conversations with captain, Barry Bannan, about his desire to remain an Owl, and Chris Powell as he discusses what makes Sheffield Wednesday so special.

00:05for Sheffield Wednesday now.

00:07They're some pretty insane numbers, aren't they?

00:10I feel it.

00:13Yeah, it's amazing.

00:16Obviously, I've been here 10 years, 437 games.

00:22When you say it is crazy for one club,

00:25when you look at the way football is going nowadays.

00:27So it's something that I'm proud of.

00:30But I've loved every minute here.

00:32Obviously, there's been ups and downs.

00:35But I wouldn't change it for the world.

00:37Even the downs make me come back stronger.

00:41And even the downs that I've had at the club,

00:45by sticking around, you get the recognition

00:47for the down the line.

00:49And then the fans are by the tunnel at Stoves Ground.

00:52I know they've moved the fans now,

00:54but they're right by the tunnel.

00:55Well, everyone's euphoric.

00:57Everyone's really happy.

00:59And I just did this kick.

01:01I don't know why.

01:02And it was Bambo.

01:03Bambo the RB on a Monday.

01:05He'd seen it all online.

01:06And he said, what about the kick?

01:09And I said, what kick?

01:10So I think it's one of those things

01:12that you sort of do and don't remember.

01:14Yeah.

01:14And then a couple of fans said, oh, it was great.

01:19And can you do it again?

01:21I said, if we win.

01:22And I had forgotten a couple of times.

01:24But the majority of times, I remember.

01:26Because Danny's got to do his bit.

01:28And Barry does it with the team.

01:31And now the fans are waiting for him.

01:32It's a bit bizarre.

01:33But it's great.

01:34It's just part of being all together

01:37and, you know, celebrating the wins.

01:39Because, you know, when they come around,

01:41you should celebrate them.

01:42Absolutely.
