00:02I mean, we've already seen a lot of clubs

00:03who've put out their retain list,

00:05who've been very, very speedy about it.

00:06That isn't Wednesday's way of working.

00:09It hasn't really been at any point.

00:11But I think before we've had the excuse of,

00:14you know, didn't really know what was going on

00:15until the last minute.

00:18I don't know, for me,

00:19when I look at a lot of the teams

00:21that have released their retain list already,

00:24I just think that Wednesday could do

00:26with being a bit more proactive.

00:28And I know the situation with Danny

00:30changes things a little bit,

00:31but Wednesday need to get moving, don't they?

00:36I think so.

00:37And I think it is an opportunity miss.

00:39I mean, you know, mathematically,

00:41they were safe, what, three, four weeks

00:43before the end of the season.

00:45But really, you're looking at it thinking

00:46any time from December,

00:48Sheffield Wednesday should be motoring on

00:50with their plans for the summer

00:52and setting up for next summer.

00:53And you'd like to think that, you know,

00:56in the same way that you draw up plans

00:58across two different divisions.

01:02You do that with managers as well.

01:04And it's this forward thinking,

01:06you know, it's the difficulty

01:08of not having a sporting director

01:10to oversee a philosophy and a strand.

01:13And you hear things from other clubs,

01:16you know, who are fated

01:18and complimented so much for their structures

01:22and their forward planning.

01:23And, you know, there's directors of football

01:26that have spoken about knowing

01:27who their manager after the next manager

01:30is going to be.

01:30And, you know, identify very much

01:32in the same way that you would with players.

01:33And you're looking at this.

01:34So, you know,
