NAIO to submit AI law proposal to Digital Ministry by end of June

The National AI Office (NAIO) will submit its proposals on artificial intelligence (AI) laws to the Digital Ministry by the end of this month.  Digital Minister Gobind Singh Deo said NAIO has been tasked with submitting its recommendations on AI legislation to help develop a comprehensive governance framework. 02:25Once I get the suggestions from the National AI Office, then we will put up a paper to cabinet,

02:30and we will get guidance from cabinet as to what to do next.

02:34If, of course, that paper is, what we call, is put through, is passed,

02:40or that paper is accepted by cabinet, then we will have to start work on the bill itself.
