00:05How do you and Oregon football coach Dan Lanning work together?
00:10Did you guys hear that with what Miss Bree had to say, two-way guys out there?
00:14And there's a few of you out there we're recruiting for sure.
00:17Coach Lanning is awesome.
00:19He comes to our scrimmages.
00:20He comes to practices.
00:22He sits up in the suites and hangs out with his entire staff and family.
00:25You know, from day one of his press conference when I got a chance to meet his wonderful bride and his family,
00:31they've been – we've been huge fans of his and vice versa.
00:35It's an easy relationship, I guess, Bree, is the best way I can put it.
00:39He comes over.
00:40We're always welcome at the practice football field.
00:43And it could be a closed practice, and he'd be like, Waz, I didn't see it practice.
00:47What's going on?
00:48Why?
00:48You know, you need to be out there.
00:50Every day in the weight room, you know, Coach Love and the entire coach staff, Coach Davis and those guys,
00:54they want us in that weight room to where just the culture of what they're doing,
01:00they want us to be a part of it and vice versa.
01:02Best way I can explain it, I've never been a part of this kind of a relationship with a football staff.
01:06And there's been some great coaches, you know, that I've gotten along with great.
01:09But just the entirety of this relationship with Coach Lanning's staff, never been a part of something like this,
01:15and it's been really special.
01:16All the way through all of them, whether it's Mario, all the way to the Stoops brothers, you know,
01:21Steve Spurrier at Florida when I was there.
01:23You know, there's so many great coaches that have all been welcoming, but not like Dan and his staff.
01:28It's just a totally different level of love.
01:30How cool is that?
01:31So what makes him so unique from all those other coaches?
01:37I don't know.
01:38He plays like tic-tac-toe in his office with recruits.
01:41Like, he's real.
01:41He's just, he's a guy that's not afraid to go out.
01:44And there was a recruiting call one time that he's with a couple of his college buddies on a lake, in the lake of the Ozarks, on a boat.
01:50And he didn't even have a shirt on, and he's taking a recruiting call.
01:53And he just, he picks up the phone, I guess.
01:56You know, he picks up the phone.
01:58He answers a FaceTime at all hours of the day or night.
02:01And, you know, and that can be, you never know.
02:05You know, you're not always on your prettiest face and their best look when you're getting FaceTimed by somebody randomly.
02:11And yet, he's that guy, right?
02:13He's the guy that just wants to do whatever he can.
02:16And so I guess what I'm saying is he's a genuine person.
02:19I'm sure he'd say the same about you.
02:22I hope so.
