00:03I've seen a lot of people upset with Craig Breslow.

00:06I don't think Breslow's the guy to be mad at.

00:11Henry's the one who endeavors spit in his face in Kansas City.

00:14He probably said, I'm done with the guy.

00:16So, like, I would just channel your energy in the right spot.

00:35And Bregman is what really sped this whole thing up.

00:39He's a better defensive third baseman.

00:41He's a great teammate, all that stuff.

00:43He comes in, plays third, moves Devers.

00:45That's really what escalated this whole thing.

00:49You know, like, oh, asking him to play first is one thing.

00:51But already pushing him off of third base after you sign him to a long-term deal.

00:55He also feels like he was lied to during the spring.

00:59Now, that might have been Cora.

01:00That might have been Breslow.

01:01That might have been both of them.

01:03But the story go, or the reports were, Breslow didn't really want Bregman.

01:09Therefore, Breslow, I think, was comfortable with Devers being his third baseman for the next several years.

01:15But Cora really pushed for it.

01:17And then Devers couldn't handle it.

01:19And maybe Cora thought he could.

01:22Maybe Cora was like, we just need better baseball players.

01:24And if Devers is willing to be the DH and Bregman's our third baseman, those guys are going to play together.

01:30They're going to hit 2-3 in the lineup for the next few years.

01:32And this is our best chance.

01:34And he completely underestimated what a puddle Devers would turn into when you asked him to put the glove down.

01:41So Breslow's the one that technically calls the shots.

01:44Breslow's the one that's on the phone with the Giants.

01:46But Cora kind of escalated this whole thing.

01:50And then John Henry clearly more than approved it.

01:52John Henry had that conversation with him.

01:54And it was like, on the plane ride home, probably told Breslow, like, get a deal done.

01:58See, the reason he's gone is John Henry.
