00:01Hello everybody, good morning to you. We've seen outbreaks of rain continue south overnight, but the weather front is responsible for this is now slowing down as it edges into parts of northern England and north Wales.
00:14And over the next few hours, I think the rain will tend to become lighter and more patchy.
00:19To the south, mist to start the day, but that will quickly burn away.
00:22And then plenty of sunshine across parts of the south and east of Wales, the Midlands, East Anglia and the south of England.
00:28And here, temperatures rising, expecting 25, 26 Celsius by the afternoon with that strong June sunshine.
00:36Watch out for the UV levels, of course.
00:38Northern Ireland and Scotland, brighter skies as well behind the weather front.
00:42Just a few showers, not quite as blustery by the end of the day as well.
00:46But we do have another system bringing further showers in by night time, and that's going to be providing some gusty winds as well.
00:55Further south, the cloud continues on its journey into central parts of England and Wales, but the cloud tends to break up overnight.
01:04So patchy cloud here and there.
01:06Otherwise, it's a mild or warm night across southern parts of the UK, but a fresher one to come for parts of northern England, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
01:15Now, we start off Wednesday with the outbreaks of rain or showers across central and northern Scotland.
01:22A keen breeze here.
01:24Cloudy skies edging into Northern Ireland as well.
01:26A few spots of rain appearing into the west by the afternoon, and that also spilling into the central belt.
01:32But for many, it's a bright day with plenty of sunshine and feeling even warmer as temperatures rise in the south, at least to the mid-20s, and perhaps up to 26 or 27 Celsius across parts of eastern England.
01:46Towards the north, still relatively cool.
01:49The high teens more likely, perhaps the low 20s in places.
01:52But we do have rising temperatures during the next few days across the whole of the UK, initially because we've got high pressure across the whole of the country.
02:02That's going to lead to day by day, strong sun, heating the ground, rising temperatures.
02:08But by the end of the working week and into the weekend, we've got the change in wind direction as high pressure pushes into the North Sea.
02:15Southerlies bringing increased heat from Iberia and the potential for temperatures into the low 30s by Saturday.
02:22They have a great start before sayingia performance.
02:36They have got high pressure and high pressure in the weather is getting wider.
