00:00Lorenzo, this is the first time for you at the prestigious stage race.

00:03What are your goals and expectations?

00:05Oh yeah, as you said, it's my first big race coming from the juniors.

00:08I'm really excited for it.

00:09We've prepared well with the team.

00:12We've got a strong team and yeah, I'm here to learn, get an experience

00:15and yeah, try and go for the best result possible, whatever that may be.

00:19And yeah, just enjoy.

00:23It looks like you have also lots of pressure coming from outside.

00:26How do you deal with it?

00:28Oh yeah, like you guys put me pressure, but no, it's fine.

00:32Like, I guess there's pressure for a reason, but I'm fine with it.

00:37I just do my thing.

00:40It looks like you're strong basically everywhere.

00:42But what's your goal here at the Giro next year?

00:45Why?

00:46I would, yeah, it's my first race where I really get to do some longer climbs.

00:50So I'm excited to see how it's going to go.

00:53We have a super strong team here, so we come here with high ambitions.

00:58Speaking about the climbs, do you know some of them?

01:00Have you done some recons?

01:02No, we've only done the recon of the TT, but we've looked a lot into the different routes.

01:07So I think we are ready.

01:09No one in history has ever worn it more than once.

01:12Are you going to make history this time?

01:14How do you feel about that?

01:15I hope so.

01:17I will try my best and just see what will happen.

01:22This year course looks harder on paper rather than last year.

01:25What do you think about that?

01:27Normally it's better for me, so I'm happy about it.

01:31Does it make you a favorite?

01:33I don't know.

01:38Maybe, yeah, I don't know.

01:39Having pretty good experience in the track doesn't make you a favorite for the time trial,

01:45being only 8.4 k's?

01:48I think it's a good TT for me, but for rather good guys in this race,

01:52because the level is too high there, but I try to do my best.

01:57Who are the main rivals for the TT?

01:59I think Albert Witter-Philipsen is one of the best riders there,

02:04but also in the other type of race.

02:08Are there any other stages you can potentially do something or shoot you?

02:15I don't know.

02:16We have one GC leader and we'll see stage by stage.
