00:00So obviously this is a big tragedy for your area.
00:03So what's the response kind of been from the community around this?
00:07It's devastating. It's worrying as well.
00:09The community got together straight away.
00:12We are supporting the family even now with the funeral services.
00:16So that's one thing that I can see from the community.
00:19Yeah. And what would you say to people in the community
00:21that are a bit worried or scared after this incident?
00:25So obviously we're all scared.
00:27Yeah, I myself walk on that road frequently.
00:31We have a lot of children that walk on that road to the shops and the local mosque.
00:35So I think action does need to be taken.
00:37The local community has been calling the council for a few years now
00:41to introduce traffic calming measures.
00:45I think now I understand the council is doing an amazing job with their assessments,
00:48but sometimes local knowledge can spot things that citywide assessments might miss.
00:54Yeah, so maybe like listening more to these local voices.
00:57Yeah, yeah, yeah, and I'll use my position to try and raise that voice inside the council now.
