Greta Thunberg has been deported from Israel after the humanitarian aid ship she was aboard was intercepted by the Israeli military and towed to the port city of Ashdod.
The Swedish climate activist was among a 12-person crew on board the Madleen, a vessel organized by the Freedom Flotilla Coalition (FFC), which was carrying aid including rice, flour, and baby formula to Gaza.

00:00On international waters we were illegally attacked and kidnapped by Israel and taken against our will to Israel where we were detained.
00:17And then some of us deported, some are still there.
00:22There are very big uncertainties because it was quite chaotic and uncertain so I don't really know what's going on. I haven't had a phone for many days.
00:32What were the conditions for you over the last few hours?
00:35They were absolutely nothing compared to what people are going through in Palestine, especially Gaza right now.
00:42This is yet another violation of international rights, adding to the list of countless of such, especially towards Palestinians, that Israel are committing.
00:56By blocking and preventing humanitarian aid from entering Gaza, that is illegal.
01:03Are you worried about the others, that they might be detained for any length of time?
01:07I am very worried about them. We heard many different messages pointing towards that they would not make it easy.
01:17And there were troubles with being able to see lawyers.
01:22So I am very much calling for their immediate release and calling for everyone who can to mobilize to their governments and other ways to demand their immediate release.
01:34Are you disappointed you didn't manage to break the blockade?
01:37I am... I don't know if disappointed is the right word. This is a continued violation of international law and war crimes that Israel are systematically committing against Palestinians by not letting aid come in, by starving people and mass slaughtering in every possible way.
02:01During a live stream full-blown genocide that the world is watching.
02:06We have been told that people were forced to sign papers in which they recognized that they entered the country illegally. Did that happen for you?
02:11I did not recognize that I entered the country illegally. I made it very clear in my testimony that we were kidnapped on international waters and brought there against our own will into Israel.
02:24I am terrified at seeing how this extremely deadly passivity and silence is all over the world, leading to so many deaths.
02:37I don't know if you know, but Donald Trump commented about you being soft and ash dot. He said, you know, you're an angry young woman.
02:43She's a young, angry person. I don't know if it's real anger. It's hard to believe, actually.
02:48Anger management. I think she has to go to an anger management class.
02:52Well, I think the world needs a lot of more young, angry women, to be honest. Especially with everything going on right now. That's the thing we need most of.
03:01Well, I think we're going to be doing.
03:15Well, I think we're going to do something, but I think we're going to do something, but there's not many times.
03:21We're going to stand up for a bit of time.
03:23Because we're going to have to be a lot of time, after that, and we're going to get a lot of time.
