A ship carrying 21 activists and humanitarian aid to Gaza was intercepted by the Israeli navy on July 26, said the Freedom Flotilla Coalition and Israeli Foreign Ministry.

The ministry said the “Handala” vessel was making its way to the shores of Israel and all the passengers were safe.

00:08The crew member of the Handala Flotilla was communicating with Israeli Navy at sea
00:13for a clear passage to Gaza on Saturday night.
00:16You have no legal authority to enforce an unlawful blockade,

00:24Later, the Navy intercepted the vessel carrying 21 activists and humanitarian aid
00:29for the war-torn Gaza plagued by hunger and malnutrition woes.
00:36The Freedom Flotilla Coalition then posted pre-recorded videos of the crew.
00:43I appeal to my comrades, friends and family, to everyone,
00:47to put pressure on your country, Australia, for my country.
00:50And I have been abducted by the Israeli occupation forces,
00:54or forces of the country complicit in Israel's genocide of Palestinians.

01:10Earlier, the U.S. citizens aboard the vessel have called on the U.S. administration
01:14to ensure safe passage of the vessel if it does not support the starvation in Gaza.
01:19The Israeli Foreign Ministry said its navy had stopped the vessel
01:26from illegally entering the maritime zone of the coast of Gaza.
01:29They said the vessel was safely making its way to the shores of Israel
01:33and added that all passengers were safe.

01:40to defy an Israeli blockade and deliver humanitarian aid to Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
