00:00 In late March Trinidad and Tobago qualified for the indoor hockey World Cup
00:04 which takes place in Croatia next year. TNT put on a brilliant display at the
00:09 indoor Pan Am Cup in Canada which saw them being runners-up to Argentina. As a
00:13 result both teams qualified for the big stage but the question is what are the
00:18 TNT players doing right now? At the end of the day we came back and the hype was
00:24 still there and the vibes are still there but now it kind of settling
00:27 on a little bit but even just now I just spoke to the captain Akim Tuse and he
00:32 was saying Rafi let's do something and maybe a little fundraiser just to keep
00:36 the boys together and you know so we planning to have something in the in the
00:40 next couple weeks where we keep all the boys together and have another gathering
00:44 again until until that time where where our hockey board will set trainings
00:50 training sessions with the fellas. Even though the World Cup is in February
00:54 Rafael Govia is the type of coach who is eager to get cracking anytime he can
00:58 however there are things happening at the moment including the fact that the
01:03 training venue is in use for other activities. We'll probably have a longer
01:07 prep time so that'll go well for the fellas who come and enter the session
01:10 because it's going to be an open session again you know and I think that's key
01:13 fellas will have a longer prep time and yeah we know actually we know Woodbrooke
01:18 is pretty busy at this point in time with I think there's a there's a couple
01:22 tournaments carded there right now so as soon as we get word on the availability
01:28 of Woodbrooke and then not to mention there's a Pan Am challenge for the boys
01:32 in September for the outdoor squad you know so they'll be busy as well same
01:37 nucleus of the indoor squad is part of the outdoor squad as well you know so
01:41 they have a busy they have a busy circuit coming up. Govia has no plans of
01:45 going to Croatia just to make up numbers for him the objective is to play with a
01:49 positive attitude and create some magic. Well again coming back to Croatia when
01:55 we went to Germany in 2018 when we qualified in 2017 the main focus was
02:01 really to get the boys fit get that tactical prowess inside of them and
02:08 make sure that when we go to top-class competition we face the likes of Russia
02:14 and Australia and so on that we put on a good performance and we show our natural
02:18 talent by attacking defending but our natural style is full of vibes and we
02:25 we attack at full force all the time so we're going to play entertaining
02:29 hockey that's the plan. TNT played in two men's indoor hockey World Cups in the
02:33 past the venues being Austria and Germany.
