00:00Computer science videos here today to show you guys, in this tutorial, two different

00:07ways to save your emails on the desktop application Microsoft Outlook using a Mac computer.

00:13Without further ado, let us start the video.

00:16So in this tutorial, you need to have access to a Mac computer, have access to the desktop

00:21application Microsoft Outlook.

00:23We can start the tutorial.

00:26Before I start this tutorial, I would like to say that you are more than welcome to subscribe

00:56Let's now focus on the video.

00:58So now let's go down to the doc, go to Launchpad, go to the application Microsoft Outlook, search

01:04for this, enter to open up the application, wait for that to load.

01:09Once that is loaded, the first way to save an email within your account is to click on

01:14the email and then drag and drop this to the desktop.

01:18So now the email itself has been saved directly to the desktop.

01:22If I were to, let's just say, close out of Outlook, go to that email we have saved on

01:28the desktop.

01:29Right click, open with, Microsoft Outlook, this will now open up that email itself.

01:35On screen for us to then re-forward, reply, move to another folder if we wish to.

01:44We don't have to directly go into our email to complete those tasks.

01:50So we can now close this email itself, go to the desktop, delete the email as we want to

01:58replicate this process again through another way.

02:05Let's go back to our inbox.

02:08Let's now click on the email, go to the navigation toolbar on top.

02:12Go to file, go to save as, and now we will be prompted to save this email via save as,

02:25where to the desktop, click on save.

02:28Let's now go to the desktop and there we go.

02:31Let's now quit Outlook for the moment.

02:32Go to the desktop, right click, your digest email, open with, Microsoft Outlook, and there

02:40we go.

02:41The email itself has now opened up on screen, without the requirements to open up the full

02:48application.
