00:05create an account and sign up for ChatGPT on a Mac computer. Without further ado,
00:11let us start the video. So in this tutorial you need to have access to a Mac
00:16computer, have access to a web browser that we can use to access the software
00:22which is web-based. We can now start the tutorial. Before I start this tutorial I

00:57the video. So now let's go down to the dock. Go to the web browser which is Safari
01:02in this case. Wait for that to load. Once it has loaded within your web browser now
01:07type in ChatGPT. Click on this. Just to give you guys a bit of a background in
01:14terms of what this is and what it can achieve. So we all know that artificial
01:20intelligence is on the rise and ChatGPT is actually a bot that was developed by
01:26Open Artificial Intelligence. The software itself was actually launched
01:31almost one year ago on the 30th of November 2022. So we have now hit the one
01:36year anniversary last month. So let's now click on chat.openai.com.
01:46We can now either log in or sign up. As we are still new to this system we will need to
01:51sign up and create the account. Click on sign up. Let's now use our email address
01:56which is Rayhan at ComputerScienceVideos.com. Click on continue. This will now ask us to
02:10create a password which I will do now. That's fine. Your password must contain at
02:15least 12 characters. Let's continue. Let's just save the password.
02:24Verify your email. We sent an email to Rayhan at ComputerScienceVideos.com. Click on the link
02:29inside to get started. That's fine. So now let's open up the link within our email.
02:35And there is the email. Verify your email. Click on this.
02:53Verify that you are human. That's fine.
02:55We will then have to tell the application about ourselves. Phone name and birthday. That's fine.
