00:00Computer science videos here today to show you guys in this tutorial how to
00:05create a 2000 word essay using chat GPT on a Mac computer. Without further ado
00:13let us start the video. So in this tutorial you need to have access to a Mac
00:17computer, have access to a web browser which will allow us to access the online
00:22software so we can now start this tutorial. Before I start this tutorial I
00:27would like to say that you are more than welcome to subscribe to my channel
00:31computer science videos as we know every problem is solved by indirection. You can
00:37also follow my Twitter account we are trying to grow as fast as ever. I'm on
00:43TikTok we post videos here and there. Follow my page on Facebook. I'm also on
00:50Instagram. You are more than welcome to support me on PayPal. Let's now focus on
00:57the video. So now let's go down to the doc. Go to the web browser which is Safari in
01:02this case. Wait for that to load. Now let's go to chat GPT. Now let's click on
01:09chat.openai.com. Make sure that you are signing to the account. If you're not
01:16sure how to do that, go to the previous tutorials where I demonstrate how to
01:20create an account and sign in. So now the question has arisen. Can I use
01:26artificial intelligence to generate part of my essay that I wish to write and
01:32submit to my university or for a project or anything in general? That's a very
01:39good question. Let's now ask the chat bot to help us when it comes to writing the
01:47essay. So let's just say, write me a 2000 word essay on the foundations of, let's just say, HTML and CSS.
02:07CSS. So what this will now do is they will search their whole database of information
02:17that is stored and then generate the essay for us to partially use. I'm not saying you
02:24should now take this and generate this and pretend this is your own work as that
02:29is plagiarism. They will put your work through a plagiarism checker only to
02:34realize that this is not your work. So be very careful with these precautions in
02:40place when it comes to extracting information, changing information and how
02:46you do what you do. So let's now click on enter. As you can see ChatGPT will now
02:51generate information that can be used as part of the essay. So this is an amazing tool
03:04that was created. It's still going. Yes, continue generating. We will then take the
03:17information. Copy and paste that into a Word document to then go do some further
03:24reading as this is only a partial part of the essay. So let's now copy that. Let's
03:32now move to another desktop. Go over to the doc. Go to launchpad. Go to Word. Enter to
03:38open up the application. Wait for that to load. Let's click on a blank document.
03:44Let's now command V to paste. Answer the question we asked the chatbot. Can you
03:53generate me a 2,000 word essay? I would say only 75% of that is a yes and the other
04:00is a no. As we can see by the word count 1,439 which is nowhere near 2,000. That's
04:06okay. So we can now minimize Word for the moment. Now let's go over onto the doc. Go back to
04:12Safari. And now what we can do is quiz Safari. And so that's it for this video. I'll see you
04:20guys in my next tutorial. Thanks for now. Thank you for making it towards the end of
04:26the video. Be sure to subscribe to my channel, Computer Science Videos. Be sure to check out
04:31the previous video on screen now or you can ideally click on the playlist and watch all the journey for
04:39computer science videos from the start until now.
