00:00Former Barnsley boss and current FC Cologne head coach Gerhard Struber is currently the favourite to take over from Liam Manning at Bristol City following Manning's departure to fellow Championship outfit Norwich City earlier on this month.
00:15Yeah, I think I've said it in every single interview, couldn't be more proud. I think in terms of what they've had to go through this season, the challenges they've faced, the battle they've faced to turn people's opinions and prove people wrong, surprise a few people. It takes real resilience, togetherness and courage to do that. And you saw it last night. I think it's one of those last night, you go into the game knowing it's a real uphill challenge.
00:41The bit that you want to make sure is that, you know, you go down fighting, you leave everything out there and the lads certainly did that. I think, you know, if we'd lost three in the last night and had 20% possession, no shots and, you know, Sheffield United have had 80% and 28 shots and you've been battered, I think it's a different feeling. I think, you know, the fact that we went out there and, you know, created some really good opportunities in the first 20, 25 minutes, you know, we kept running, kept competing, kept, you know, trying to play our way. I think, you know, the lads, you know, deserve it to be so come out in credit.
01:07And Bristol Rovers head coach, Daryl Clark has been reflecting on his first spell in charge of the gas, including a memorable day at Wembley Stadium.
01:17It's ten years, I know, yeah, ten years, yeah. What a day though. It was, I don't, I don't remember a lot on the day, but just pure relief, if I'm honest with you, but, yeah, it's flown by ten years.
01:31What a, it was a great day, it was a massive day for the football club to bounce straight back, so, yeah, good memories.
01:39Do you remember that, the morning of that final, maybe the feeling around the camp?
01:42Er, I can remember we obviously, we went, I think it was a week before, to look at the stadium and get our bearings and get all the photos and selfies and all that rubbish out of the way.
01:56I just remember it being a massive pressure occasion, there's a lot of pressure on us to win.
02:02Nick Higgs, the former chairman, obviously we, the financial impact of going down was massive and it'd have been even bigger as well if we'd have gone, if we wouldn't have gone up.
02:11So, it was just a, it was a pure relief season to be honest.
