Leeds Beckett University ranks among top 10 universities in England

Leeds Beckett University has been ranked among the top 10 universities in England for 2026, according to new figures released by Uni Compare.

00:10ranked one of Leeds' universities in their top 10 universities in England for 2026.

00:16By analysing 28,430 verified reviews across 209 universities to compile its rankings,

00:24it evaluated a number of factors, including the quality of accommodation, social life,

00:29graduate career outcomes, course content, and the percentage of graduates who would recommend

00:34the university to others. UniCompare say that the rankings reflect what students truly experience

00:40on a day-to-day basis, providing a real picture of university life. Their new ranking table sees

00:46Leeds Beckett University placed at number 8 in their top 10 universities in England 2026.

00:52It has an overall rating of 4.08 out of 5, and received a score of 3.86 for accommodation,

00:594.24 for course quality, 4.25 for social student life, and 3.98 for graduate careers.

01:08Additionally, 99% of students recommended the university.

01:12The only other Yorkshire establishment on the list was the University of Sheffield,

01:16which had an overall rating of 4.03 and was number 10. The top 5 of this particular ratings table

01:22was made up of Edge Hill University at 5, Newcastle University at 4, Nottingham Trent University at 3,

01:30Liverpool John Moores University at 2, and Middlesex University at number 1.

01:35UniCompare said that what stands out this year is how competitive the top positions are,

01:40with the scores of the leading universities separated by only hundreds of a point.
