For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Saviour Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works. 00:05I'm not putting the words up on the screen tonight, so you'll have to follow it in the Bible.
00:10If you haven't got a Bible, you can take one from the front.
00:15So Titus chapter 2.
00:19And the subject tonight really is the Blessed Hope.
00:22The Blessed Hope.
00:23And I'm going to read from verse 11 through to verse 7 of chapter 3.
00:32For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that denying ungodliness and worldly lusts,
00:38we should live soberly, righteously and godly in the present age,
00:43looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Saviour, Jesus Christ,
00:49who gave himself for us that he might redeem us from every lawless deed
00:54and purify for himself his own special people, zealous for good works.
00:59Speak these things, exalt and rebuke with all authority, let no one despise you.
01:06Remind them to be subject to rulers and authorities, to obey, to be ready for every good work,
01:10to speak evil of no one, to be peaceable, gentle, showing all humility to all men.
01:15For we ourselves were also once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various lusts and pleasures,
01:22living in malice and envy, hateful and hating one another.
01:27When the kindness and the love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,
01:31not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy, he saved us,
01:36through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,
01:40whom he poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour.
01:43That having been justified by his grace, we should become heirs, according to the hope of eternal life.
01:50Praise the Lord. The blessed hope. Do you have the blessed hope?
01:55Some people complain to me about my this month in prophecy talk, that it's too gloomy.
02:02Well, unfortunately, if you're commenting on the news in the light of the Bible prophecies,
02:08you can't help feeling a little bit gloomy, because the news is pretty bad.
02:14And it's getting worse on all counts.
02:15When you look at what's happening in Ukraine,
02:18and any rushes on the brink of going nuclear, I think,
02:22there's all kinds of terrible things happening in that country.
02:26Middle East, going from bad to worse.
02:28You've still got the horrible things happening.
02:29In Gaza, everyone's turning against Israel.
02:32And you've got still the threat of Iran, which is heading towards a nuclear weapon,
02:38wants to rebuild its arm stock and spread them out into the countries roundabouts,
02:42the region, and continue its assault upon Israel.
02:47And within the church, we see all kinds of things happening,
02:50in the official church particularly, which are moving it away from the truth of the Bible,
02:54bringing in doctrines which are not in line with what the Scripture says,
03:00and basically becoming more and more apostate.
03:05And it's all pretty gloomy.
03:07I can't make it better, because it's not better.
03:11Nevertheless, there is a remnant that remains.
03:14And Jesus tells her that when these things begin to happen,
03:17he says, don't panic, and don't give up,
03:19but lift up your heads, look up, because your redemption draws near.
03:23So when you see these things happening,
03:25they're actually a sign of the second coming of Jesus.
03:28And this means that there is an amazingly hopeful outcome to all of this,
03:32if you believe in Jesus.
03:35And Jesus told us these things are going to happen.
03:37He says, I'm going to come again.
03:39And he says, when these things happen,
03:42then you know that there are signs of the second coming of Jesus.
03:45Luke chapter 21, verse 25, he says,
03:48there'll be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars,
03:50and on the earth, distress of nations with perplexity,
03:54the sea and the waves roaring, men's hearts fading them from fear,
03:57and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth,
04:00for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
04:02Then you will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
04:07Though when these things begin to happen,
04:09look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.
04:13Okay, in those verses you've got bad news.
04:16There's going to be distress of nations on the earth with perplexity.
04:22I've said this before, the Greek phrase for with perplexity is aperea,
04:26which means with no way out.
04:28So when you see a series of crises coming on the earth,
04:31which no one has a solution for and no way out of,
04:33then you know this is a sign of the second coming of Jesus.
04:36As a result of these things,
04:38people are going to be fainting with fear for what's coming on the earth.
04:41And anybody who really knows what's happening in the world
04:43actually has a fear and anticipation.
04:46In fact, a lot of young people today are fearful
04:47that we're going to destroy the world with global warming.
04:50Others are fearful about the spread of wars and the breakdown of society.
04:54There are many things which cause people to be afraid of what's coming on the earth.
04:59Some of them may be legitimate, some of them are not.
05:01But basically there are enough reasons which you look around
05:04to make people fearful about what's coming on the earth.
05:08Jesus then said that when you see these things happening,
05:10as I said, don't panic.
05:12He said, lift up your heads, your redemption draws near,
05:14because you're going to see the Son of Man coming in the clouds of heaven
05:18with power and great glory.
05:20In other words, he's heading towards an event
05:22which is totally unparalleled in history
05:26in which God is going to intervene in a supernatural way
05:30through Jesus coming, this time not as the suffering servant,
05:33this coming with power and great glory
05:36as King of kings and Lord of lords.
05:38So you have the bad news, you also have the good news.
05:44And basically I try and go and tell people about this.
05:47Most people actually say, well, ignore it, it's always been like this,
05:52there's always been troubles, there's always been wars,
05:54there's always been this, nothing's particularly different.
05:57Quite a common opinion.
05:58It's not actually.
05:59There are very things happening today which are unique to this age
06:02and which are unique to Bible prophecy.
06:06Some say, well, they can see there are bad things happening,
06:09but they can't really believe that anything supernatural is going to happen from God
06:13because, as far as they're concerned, God doesn't either exist
06:17or God doesn't do anything.
06:19And you have this idea that God may be there somewhere,
06:21but he doesn't intervene in world events.
06:26And it is actually quite difficult to believe it's going to happen, isn't it?
06:29I mean, most of us live our lives in a fairly sort of,
06:34I wouldn't say boring way, but not very particularly out of the ordinary.
06:38We give our lives, we go from day to day, things don't change,
06:41bad things happen, good things happen,
06:43bad things happen in the world, good things happen in the world.
06:45Well, not very often good things, but sometimes they do.
06:47And bad things happen in our lives, good things happen in our lives.
06:51Things go on and nothing particularly changes.
06:54So the idea that something suddenly could totally change,
06:57it could be a total unbelievable shift in what takes place,
07:02is a bit hard to grasp.
07:04I feel like that, and now I've been studying this subject for years, you know.
07:08And then you think, well, could it really happen?
07:09Could God actually break into our society in this way?
07:12And could Jesus really come back with all power?
07:15Could the rapture of the church actually take place
07:17in which one is taken and one's left behind?
07:20All these things are totally out of our experience.
07:24No one's ever experienced them happening.
07:26And we can only believe them because they're written there in the Bible.
07:30So basically, we have to base our faith on what it says in the Scriptures.
07:34And if God says something's going to happen, it really is going to happen.
07:38Now, one of the ways we can be sure if God says something's going to happen,
07:41and it will happen,
07:43is if God has said something's going to happen in the past,
07:45and it has happened.
07:47Which is why when we look at this passage in the book of Titus,
07:51Paul's letter to Titus,
07:52we see that he says things about the past, the present, and the future.
07:57And we'll look at Titus in the light of that
07:59and see how it sort of hangs together.
08:02He looks back to what has already happened
08:04in the person of Jesus' coming as our Redeemer,
08:09and he looks forward to the second coming of Jesus,
08:12and he tells us how to live in the light of it.
08:14So he goes to the past, the present, and the future.
08:18And he really highlights two major events
08:20around which human history and destiny revolve.
08:25The first and the second coming of Jesus, the Messiah.
08:28And if you know the Scriptures,
08:30you'll know that these events are actually written about
08:32before they happened in the Old Testament,
08:35or the Hebrew prophets.
08:37You have passages in the book of Isaiah, for example,
08:39chapter 53, which tells you the Messiah's going to come,
08:41he's going to be a suffering servant,
08:42he's going to be despised and rejected of men,
08:45he's going to have the sins of the world placed upon him,
08:49he's going to be put to death,
08:50he's going to be buried in a rich man's tomb,
08:52and he's going to rise from the dead.
08:54It tells you that also in Psalm 22.
08:56He's going to die by crucifixion,
08:58and he's going to cry out to God,
09:02my God, my God, my God, why have you forsaken me,
09:04as the sin of the world is placed upon him?
09:06And he's also going to rise from the dead,
09:07and his message is going to go out into all the world.
09:10Those things are prophesied.
09:12When the prophets wrote them, they were in the future.
09:15From our point of view, they're in the past.
09:17Have they happened?
09:19Yes or no?
09:20Yes, they've happened.
09:21They were fulfilled in the person of Jesus, the Messiah.
09:25We can look back an event in history
09:26and say that that happened in the past,
09:29and therefore the things which have not yet happened,
09:33which are in the same prophecies,
09:35are going to happen in the future.
09:37So a lot depends upon our belief about what happened
09:40at the first coming of Jesus, the Messiah.
09:44If you think about it,
09:44when the prophets wrote the prophecies,
09:47like Isaiah chapter 53 and also Isaiah chapter 2,
09:50where he speaks about the Messiah reigning from Jerusalem
09:52and bringing peace and justice to the world,
09:55from Isaiah's point of view,
09:56both of those events were in the future.
09:59From the point of view of Paul writing this letter to Titus,
10:03the first one, the coming of Jesus,
10:05was already in the past,
10:07in the quite near past for Paul.
10:10The second one was in the future,
10:12and for us also,
10:15the first coming of Jesus is in the past,
10:17quite distant past from our point of view.
10:19And the second one is also in the future,
10:22for us perhaps quite near future.
10:26And both of them have an impact on how we live today.
10:29So let's have a look at what he says about the past.
10:32He says,
10:32the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared.
10:36So the grace of God,
10:37you could say the grace of God is an abstract concept.
10:40It means the kindness of God, the love of God,
10:42and God's undeserved kindness to us as sinners who need redemption,
10:48you could say.
10:50But he says the grace of God has appeared.
10:53So he's saying that this grace of God,
10:55which is a concept,
10:56has appeared in some form of form,
10:58which you can recognize.
10:59Now the Greek word which is used for appeared is epiphane.
11:05Right?
11:06Got our Greek expert here, thank you.
11:09And epiphane actually means to become literally visible.
11:13It's one of the means of that word.
11:16So it means something which becomes visible so you can see it.
11:18So this concept of grace,
11:21undeserved kindness,
11:22is going to become visible.
11:23You can see it.
11:24You can touch it.
11:26You can hear it.
11:26You can relate to it as somebody or a person who is there in the flesh,
11:33if you will.
11:35Also it says that this one is going to come again later on.
11:40It says he's going to,
11:42speaks about the blessed hope and glorious appearing
11:44of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ.
11:47He uses the same word, epiphania.
11:51So both times he's saying that this appearing,
11:54first of all, of the grace of God,
11:57who is Jesus the Messiah,
11:58is going to appear in some visible form.
12:02And he's going to appear a second time in a visible form.
12:05It's going to be something visible.
12:07In other words, it's going to be,
12:09if you like, an intervention from God
12:12whom we can't see
12:13and we can't have a direct relationship with
12:18into our world
12:20in a person who we can see
12:22and whom we can have a direct relationship with.
12:26And this speaks about Jesus the Messiah, of course.
12:30And it also, in this passage in Titus,
12:33he tells us that this one
12:34is our great God and Savior,
12:37Jesus Christ.
12:41So it tells you that this one
12:43who's going to come and appear
12:44is also our great God
12:46and Savior.
12:49If you go to the Jehovah's Witness translation,
12:51it says that
12:51it's the glorious manifestation of the great God
12:55and of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
12:57So they have to put it into two sections
13:00because they don't believe that Jesus is God.
13:03But that's not what the Greek says.
13:04The Greek says it's our great God
13:06and Savior, Jesus Christ.
13:07It's very clear.
13:09In fact, I think the Greek actually says
13:10great God and Savior
13:15are Jesus Christ.
13:17Is that right, Taffy?
13:20So it's
13:21Jesus Christ
13:22is both our great God
13:23and our Savior
13:24and he's ours.
13:25So he's telling you that Jesus,
13:27the Messiah who has appeared,
13:28is the great God
13:29and he's the Savior.
13:31He's not just a great prophet
13:32as the Muslims would say.
13:34He is God
13:34who is manifested in the flesh.
13:38And this is what
13:38the rest of the New Testament says.
13:40It tells us that Jesus
13:41in John chapter 1
13:43tells us of him
13:45he was in the beginning with God.
13:48In the beginning was the Word.
13:49The Word was with God.
13:51The Word was God.
13:51He was in the beginning with God.
13:52All things are made through him.
13:54Without him nothing was made
13:55that was made.
13:56And the Word became flesh
13:57and dwelt amongst us
13:58and we beheld his glory.
14:00The glory as of the only begotten
14:01of the Father
14:01full of grace and truth.
14:05And it goes on to say
14:06the law was given through Moses
14:07but grace and truth
14:08came through Jesus Christ.
14:10No one has seen God
14:10at any time.
14:11The only begotten Son
14:12who is in the bosom
14:13of the Father
14:13he has declared him.
14:16Okay, so I'm laboring this point
14:17but it's actually very important
14:18that Jesus
14:19is God
14:21who is manifested
14:21in the flesh.
14:23So he's come from God
14:24to appear on the earth
14:26as a human being
14:27Son of God.
14:30A lot of people
14:30have difficulty with that.
14:32Jehovah's Witnesses
14:33have difficulty with it.
14:33Muslims have difficulty with it.
14:35Liberal Christians
14:36have difficulty with it.
14:37Jews have difficulty with it.
14:39But it's what
14:39the Scriptures tell us.
14:41And God can actually
14:42do what he likes
14:42with his world, can't he?
14:44God is able to
14:45come in the form
14:47of the Messiah
14:47in the person of Jesus
14:50to be the one
14:51who has appeared
14:52amongst us.
14:53And you see that the
14:55apostles who wrote
14:56the Scriptures
14:56emphasised the fact
14:58that they saw Jesus.
15:00And they saw him
15:00not just as a kind of spirit
15:02not just as a
15:03manifestation
15:03but as a human being
15:05whom they could
15:06relate to.
15:09John says
15:09we beheld his glory.
15:10In other words
15:11we saw him.
15:12In his epistle
15:13John 1
15:14says that which was
15:15from the beginning
15:16which we have heard
15:17we have seen
15:18with our eyes
15:19which we have looked upon
15:20and our hands have
15:21handled concerning
15:22the word of life
15:23the life was manifested
15:24and we have seen
15:25and bear witness
15:25and declare to you
15:26that eternal life
15:27which was with the Father
15:29was manifested with us.
15:31That we have seen
15:32and heard
15:33we declare to you
15:34that you also
15:36may have fellowship
15:37with us
15:38and truly our fellowship
15:39is with the Father
15:40and with his Son
15:41Jesus Christ.
15:43So in his epistle
15:43John says
15:44we've seen him
15:45we've handled him
15:45we've touched him
15:46he's a physical being
15:47who we've had
15:47a relationship with.
15:50Peter in his epistle
15:51also says
15:52we did not follow
15:53cunningly devised fables
15:55when we made known
15:56to you the power
15:56and coming of our
15:57Lord Jesus Christ
15:58but were eyewitnesses
15:59of his majesty.
16:01So one of the qualifications
16:03actually for being an apostle
16:04is that they were
16:05eyewitnesses of Jesus
16:06in his life
16:08and ministry
16:09before his death
16:10and his resurrection.
16:12and they emphasised
16:14the fact that
16:15they've seen him
16:15he's here
16:16with us.
16:17Very important point.
16:19So God didn't send
16:21a letter
16:21he didn't send
16:22a book
16:22well he has sent
16:24a book
16:24but he also sent
16:25a person
16:26who the book
16:27is all about.
16:28And that tells us
16:29that God is personal
16:30he wants to relate
16:31to us as people
16:32as well.
16:33He wants to have
16:34a relationship
16:34with us
16:35on the earth.
16:35and the disciples
16:38speak of a physical
16:40event in time
16:41and space
16:42which they had
16:43the privilege
16:44of witnessing
16:44which is what's
16:45recorded in the
16:46Gospels.
16:48The life,
16:48death and resurrection
16:49and ascension
16:50of the Lord Jesus Christ.
16:52Now from our point
16:53of view
16:53this has happened
16:54in history.
16:56We have a choice
16:56either to accept
16:57that it happened
16:58or reject it.
16:59And you go out
17:00and talk to people
17:00today and you'll find
17:01that many people
17:01reject that it
17:02actually happened.
17:04There's plenty
17:04of evidence
17:05that it did happen.
17:07Evidence from
17:08the scriptures
17:09themselves,
17:09evidence from
17:10the lives
17:10which were changed
17:11through the Bible,
17:13evidence from
17:13the spread of Christianity,
17:15evidence from
17:15the early church.
17:17I mentioned before
17:18a book by
17:18Josh McDowell
17:19called Evidence
17:20That Demands a Verdict
17:21in which he puts
17:23a lot of the evidence
17:24that this is really
17:24a historical fact.
17:26It's not just
17:26a made up story.
17:28It really happened
17:29in time and space.
17:31And we have a choice
17:32either to believe it
17:32or to reject it.
17:33And the Bible
17:34tells us it's a
17:35consequence of that
17:37choice.
17:38If we reject it
17:39we're on what the
17:40Bible calls the
17:41broad road leading
17:42to destruction.
17:43If we accept it
17:44we're on the narrow
17:45road leading to
17:46life.
17:48In
17:48Sermon on the
17:50Mount Jesus said
17:50Enter by the
17:51narrow gate
17:52for wide is the
17:52gate and broad
17:54is the way that
17:54leads to destruction.
17:55There are many
17:55who go in by it.
17:58Narrow is the
17:59gate and difficult
17:59is the way that
18:00leads to life
18:01and there are few
18:01who find it.
18:02So the most
18:03important thing
18:04you can do
18:04with your life
18:05is to find
18:05Jesus the
18:07Messiah and
18:09to believe in
18:09him and to
18:11follow him.
18:12And it makes a
18:13difference to where
18:14we're going to
18:14spend eternity.
18:15So it's an
18:15important choice
18:16because if we
18:17reject Jesus
18:18actually we're
18:19going to spend
18:19eternity eternally
18:21separated from
18:21God in a place
18:23called hell which
18:24no one wants to
18:24go to.
18:25So it's very
18:26important that we
18:27make this choice
18:27and we find the
18:28answer in Jesus
18:30the Messiah.
18:30that he really
18:32has come
18:32and really is
18:33the Messiah.
18:35Now coming back
18:35to Titus
18:37he tells us
18:38how we should
18:38live in the
18:40present.
18:40So he says
18:41teaching us that
18:41denying ungodliness
18:42and worldly
18:43lusts we should
18:44live soberly
18:44righteously and
18:45godly in this
18:46present age.
18:48So the consequence
18:48of believing in
18:49Jesus that you
18:51turn away from
18:51the things which
18:52are ungodly
18:53and you begin to
18:54live in the
18:54path which is
18:55godly.
18:56And I think a
18:57lot of reasons
18:57why people actually
18:58reject Jesus is
19:00not because
19:00they've got all
19:01these intellectual
19:01doubts because
19:02they know that
19:03if they accept
19:03Jesus they're
19:03going to have
19:04to change
19:04their lives.
19:05They're going
19:05to have to
19:06change from
19:06living a life
19:07which is going
19:09their own way
19:10breaking God's
19:10commandments to
19:11now trying to
19:12keep God's
19:13commandments and
19:13walk in his
19:14ways.
19:16Verse 14 it
19:17says he gave
19:18himself for us
19:19that he might
19:19redeem us from
19:20every lawless
19:20deed and purify
19:22himself his own
19:23special people
19:23sell us for
19:24good works.
19:25So Jesus
19:27came to
19:27redeem us
19:28from our
19:29sins to
19:29take us
19:30away from
19:30the life
19:31which we
19:31lived before
19:32and to
19:33enable us
19:34to be
19:35purified and
19:36to be
19:36zealous for
19:37good works
19:37to do what
19:38is right in
19:39his sight.
19:40And he
19:42talks about
19:43redeeming us
19:44and purifying
19:44us.
19:45So redemption
19:46is being
19:47bought out of
19:48the slave
19:48market of
19:49sin by
19:49believing in
19:50Jesus.
19:51Purifying us
19:52is what we
19:52call sanctification
19:53which is the
19:54process which
19:55begins when
19:56you become
19:56a Christian
19:57when you're
19:57born again
19:58when you
19:58receive the
19:59Holy Spirit
19:59goes on to
20:03speak about
20:04being saved
20:04through the
20:05washing of
20:05regeneration and
20:06renewing of
20:07the Holy Spirit
20:08in the
20:08following chapter.
20:10So the
20:10experience which
20:11everybody can
20:11have which is
20:12to be born
20:12again.
20:14And the
20:14Bible says you
20:14must be born
20:15again.
20:16I was born
20:16again when I
20:17sat in a
20:17room in
20:18West Hampstead
20:19and asked
20:19God to
20:19forgive my
20:20sins which
20:20are many
20:21and come
20:22into my
20:22life and
20:23give me
20:23new life
20:23and faith
20:24in Jesus.
20:25Happened over
20:2550 years
20:26ago.
20:28Don't know
20:28when you
20:28were born
20:28again but
20:30you must
20:30be born
20:30again.
20:31So you
20:31should have
20:32some experience
20:32in your
20:33life when
20:33you know
20:34that you
20:35became a
20:35follower of
20:36Jesus the
20:36Messiah.
20:37You may
20:37not actually
20:37know the
20:38day or
20:38the hour.
20:39I do
20:39know the
20:40day or
20:40the hour
20:40because it
20:40was the
20:41first of
20:41January
20:411970 so
20:42it's a
20:43kind of
20:43significant
20:44date,
20:44New Year's
20:44Day so I
20:45couldn't
20:45really get
20:45away from
20:46that.
20:47And it
20:47was connected
20:47with a
20:48New Year's
20:48Eve party the
20:49previous night
20:49which I
20:50knew that
20:50I'd sinned
20:51at.
20:51But I
20:52know that
20:52becoming a
20:53Christian was
20:54a real thing
20:54and it
20:55changed my
20:55life.
20:57And we
20:57should have
20:57some experience
20:58of regeneration
20:59which is the
20:59change from
21:01the person we
21:01were before we
21:02became a
21:02Christian to
21:03the person
21:03who God
21:03wants us to
21:04be.
21:05And this
21:05passage speaks
21:06about some
21:06of the things
21:06which are
21:07going to
21:07happen when
21:07you are
21:08redeemed.
21:08You're
21:08going to
21:08turn away
21:09from being
21:10foolish,
21:11disobedient,
21:12deceived,
21:13seeking various
21:13lusts and
21:14pleasures,
21:15living in
21:15malice and
21:16envy,
21:17hateful and
21:17hating one
21:18another.
21:19That shouldn't
21:20happen in
21:20the church,
21:21should it?
21:22Sometimes it
21:23does but
21:23that's because
21:24we turn away
21:24from the
21:25Lord.
21:25We should
21:26live in
21:26newness of
21:27life and
21:27we should
21:28love God
21:28and love
21:28one another.
21:30Very clear.
21:32So he
21:34says here
21:34about having
21:35this past,
21:37the present
21:37and he
21:39says that
21:40you must
21:40be born
21:41again,
21:42have a new
21:42life.
21:46By the
21:47way,
21:48what he's
21:49saying also
21:49is that
21:50your first
21:51birth is
21:51not good
21:51enough.
21:52I don't
21:52know if you
21:53realise that.
21:54I'm not saying
21:54anything against
21:55your parents,
21:55they might
21:55have been
21:56very nice
21:56people,
21:57but actually
21:58bringing you
21:58into the
21:59world,
21:59brought you
22:00into the
22:00world which
22:01was full
22:01of sin
22:01and you

22:03from your
22:04parents,
22:04from their
22:05parents,
22:05from their
22:05parents,
22:06from their
22:06parents,
22:06going right
22:07back to the
22:07beginning,
22:08to the
22:08fall,
22:09described in
22:11Genesis
22:12chapter 3.
22:13It doesn't
22:14matter how bad
22:15or how good
22:16you've been in
22:16your life,
22:17it's not good
22:17enough to
22:18save you,
22:19your own
22:19works can't
22:20save you,
22:20you have to
22:21be born
22:21again.
22:24It's also
22:24not bad
22:25enough to
22:25prevent you
22:26from being
22:26saved if
22:27you repent
22:28and believe
22:28the gospel.
22:29So if you've
22:30done lots of
22:30bad stuff,
22:31it doesn't
22:32stop you from
22:33becoming a
22:33believer and
22:34being saved
22:34because the
22:35moment you
22:35accept Jesus,
22:36all your sins
22:37are blotted
22:37out and as
22:39far as God
22:39is concerned,
22:40they're removed
22:40as far as the
22:41west is from
22:41the east and
22:42nothing can
22:43separate you from
22:44the love of
22:44God which is in
22:45Jesus Christ,
22:46our saviour.
22:49Now all of
22:50this has an
22:50impact on how
22:51we live now,
22:52but let's turn
22:53now to the
22:54future.
22:54Paul directs us
22:55to the future
22:55and he speaks
22:57of the blessed
22:57hope and
22:58glorious appearing
22:59of our great
23:00God and saviour
23:01Jesus Christ.
23:03Now this is
23:04clearly a future
23:05event, it hasn't
23:05happened yet.
23:07Anybody think
23:08it's happened
23:08already?
23:09No?
23:10Well obviously
23:11it hasn't.
23:13And in some
23:13ways it's more
23:14difficult to speak
23:14from our point
23:15of view
23:15about with
23:15certainty
23:16about an
23:16event which
23:17has not
23:17yet happened.
23:19But from
23:19God's point
23:20of view
23:20both these
23:21events are
23:21equally certain.
23:23As far as
23:23God's point
23:24of view
23:24they both
23:25happened.
23:26They're written
23:27here in the
23:27scriptures.
23:28And if God
23:29says something
23:29has happened
23:30it has
23:31happened.
23:32If God
23:32says something
23:33will happen
23:33it will
23:34happen.
23:35That's as
23:35simple as
23:36that.
23:37God
23:37doesn't
23:37lie.
23:38Scriptures
23:39are full of
23:39prophecies
23:40saying about
23:40Jesus coming
23:41again a
23:42second time.
23:43And so
23:47these events
23:47are equally
23:49certain.
23:50As I said
23:51the word
23:52epiphany
23:52is applied
23:54to both
23:54of them.
23:55We have
23:56the English
23:56word
23:56epiphany.
23:58And epiphany
23:58means something
24:00being made
24:01visible,
24:01literal.
24:03So that
24:03means that
24:04this coming
24:04again of
24:05Jesus is
24:06going to
24:06contain
24:07something
24:07which is
24:07going to
24:07be visible
24:08and literal.
24:09It's going
24:10to be an
24:10invasion if you
24:11like of
24:11our time
24:12and space
24:12from God's
24:14eternal
24:14time into
24:16our time.
24:17If you
24:17look at
24:18some of
24:18the passages
24:18about the
24:19second coming
24:19of Jesus
24:20to the
24:20earth,
24:21you see
24:22that they
24:22emphasize the
24:23physicality
24:24of it.
24:25In Matthew
24:2524 it
24:26says,
24:26then the
24:27sign of
24:27the Son
24:28of Man
24:28will appear
24:29in heaven
24:29and then
24:30all the
24:30tribes of
24:31the earth
24:31will mourn
24:32and they
24:32will see
24:33the Son
24:33of Man
24:33coming on
24:34the clouds
24:34of heaven
24:35with power
24:36and great
24:37glory.
24:37So he
24:40says here
24:40that all
24:40the tribes
24:41of the
24:41earth
24:41are going
24:42to see
24:42Jesus
24:43coming
24:43with power
24:44and great
24:44glory.
24:45Now if they're
24:46going to see
24:46something it's
24:47going to be
24:47visible.
24:48Does that
24:49make sense?
24:50I can see
24:51you,
24:52you can
24:53see me,
24:54therefore you
24:55exist and I
24:56exist and
24:57you've come
24:58to this
24:58church to
24:58hear me
24:59speak.
25:01We can't
25:02see Jesus
25:02at this
25:02present time
25:03but there's
25:03hitting a
25:04time here
25:04when everybody
25:05on the
25:05earth is
25:06going to
25:06see Jesus
25:06coming in
25:07power and
25:08great glory.
25:09It's going
25:09to be a
25:09sign.
25:10I believe
25:11what it
25:11says in
25:12the,
25:13implies in
25:13the book
25:13of Matthew
25:14is that
25:14there'll
25:14be a
25:14great
25:15darkness
25:15which will
25:16come suddenly
25:17the sun
25:17and the
25:17moon
25:18and the
25:18stars
25:18won't
25:18give
25:18their
25:19light
25:19then
25:20suddenly
25:20there'll
25:20be a
25:21sign
25:22of the
25:23glorious
25:23light
25:24what we
25:27call the
25:27Shekinah
25:27glory of
25:28God
25:28as this
25:30light
25:30appears
25:30so Jesus
25:31will appear
25:31with
25:33ten
25:33thousands
25:33of
25:34angels
25:34and I
25:35believe
25:35all the
25:35saints
25:36who've
25:36been
25:36previously
25:36raptured
25:37were coming
25:38back with
25:38him.
25:39That'd be
25:39quite a
25:40sign.
25:41And it
25:42also says
25:42in the
25:42book of
25:42Revelation
25:43that
25:43verse
25:45chapter 1
25:45verse 7
25:46of Revelation
25:47it says
25:47behold he's
25:47coming with
25:48the clouds
25:48every eye
25:49will see
25:50him
25:50even they
25:51who pierced
25:52him and
25:52all the
25:52tribes of
25:53the earth
25:53will mourn
25:53because of
25:54him.
25:55Even so
25:55are men.
25:57Question
25:57why are they
25:58going to
25:58mourn?
25:59they're
26:02mourning
26:02actually
26:02because
26:02if
26:03that
26:03point
26:03they're
26:04still
26:04unsaved
26:05and
26:05not
26:05knowing
26:05Jesus
26:06at that
26:07time
26:07it'll
26:07be
26:07the
26:08end
26:08for
26:08them
26:08and
26:08they
26:09know
26:09they
26:09will
26:09only
26:09face
26:10the
26:11wrath
26:11and the
26:11judgment
26:12of
26:12God.

26:16the kings
26:17of the
26:17earth
26:17the great
26:18men
26:18the rich
26:18men
26:18the
26:18commanders
26:19the mighty
26:19men
26:20every slave
26:20and every
26:21free
26:21man
26:21hid
26:22themselves
26:22in the
26:22caves
26:23and in
26:23the rocks
26:23of the
26:23mountains
26:24and said
26:25to the
26:25mountains
26:25and rocks
26:26fall on
26:26us
26:27and hide
26:27us
26:27from the
26:28face
26:28of him
26:28who sits
26:31on the
26:32throne
26:32and from
26:33the wrath
26:33of the
26:33Lamb
26:34for the
26:35great day
26:35of the
26:35wrath
26:35his wrath
26:36has come
26:36and who
26:37is able
26:38to stand
26:39so in
26:41one way
26:42the message
26:42of the
26:42second
26:43coming
26:43actually is
26:44good news
26:44to those
26:45who believe
26:46in Jesus
26:46but is
26:47bad news

26:48who don't
26:49so the
26:50message
26:50now actually
26:51to those
26:51who don't
26:52believe in
26:52Jesus
26:52and if
26:53you're
26:53listening to
26:53this message
26:53and you
26:54don't believe
26:54in the
26:54Lord
26:55then now
26:56is the
26:56day to
26:56repent
26:57and believe
26:57the gospel
26:58before it's
26:59too late
27:00so that
27:01Jesus will
27:01greet you
27:02as
27:02saviour
27:02and not
27:03as judge
27:04now as
27:06I said
27:06we have
27:07difficulty
27:07believing
27:07this
27:08I have
27:09difficulty
27:09believing
27:10that
27:10something
27:10like this
27:10can happen
27:11anybody
27:11have
27:12difficulty
27:13believing
27:13it could
27:13happen
27:13or perhaps
27:15you're
27:15more
27:16spiritually
27:16thinking
27:16oh yeah
27:17of course
27:17it's
27:17going to
27:17happen
27:17but actually
27:19conceiving
27:19it
27:19okay
27:20you can
27:20believe
27:20it
27:20can you
27:21conceive
27:21of it
27:21really
27:22happening
27:22now
27:28now one
27:28of the
27:28things
27:29when you
27:29read
27:30through
27:30the
27:30bible
27:30you
27:32realise
27:32that
27:32there
27:32are
27:33certain
27:33times
27:33when
27:33God
27:34acts
27:34and
27:34God
27:35moves
27:35in a
27:36truly
27:36supernatural
27:37way
27:37changing
27:38the
27:39conditions
27:40on the
27:40earth
27:41changing
27:43what we
27:43call the
27:44dispensation
27:45so the
27:45changes
27:46as a result
27:47of these
27:47actions
27:47they don't
27:48happen
27:48very often
27:49but the
27:50major
27:51changes
27:52which take
27:52place in
27:52this way
27:53are
27:53one the
27:54creation
27:54two the
27:56fall in
27:56genesis
27:56chapter 3
27:57as sin
27:58comes into
27:58the world
27:59three the
28:01flood
28:01in genesis
28:02chapter 6
28:03through to
28:038
28:03which God
28:04destroys
28:05the
28:05first
28:06world
28:06and
28:07creates
28:07a new
28:07one
28:08saving
28:09Noah
28:09and the
28:09animals
28:09for the
28:11exodus
28:11from Egypt
28:12and
28:14exodus
28:14and the
28:15giving of
28:15the Torah
28:16on Mount
28:17Sinai
28:17and
28:19then
28:20the
28:20of course
28:21the coming
28:21of Jesus
28:22the Messiah
28:22his first
28:24coming
28:24his death
28:24and resurrection
28:25all of those
28:27things are
28:28accompanied with
28:28great signs
28:29and wonders
28:30things which
28:31can't be done
28:32by any
28:33kind of
28:33science
28:34or human
28:34manifestation
28:35they can
28:35only be
28:35done by
28:36God
28:36intervening
28:37look at
28:38the
28:38account of
28:39the
28:39giving of
28:39the law
28:40in
28:40exodus
28:41comes with
28:42God
28:42appearing on
28:43the mountain
28:43with
28:43signs
28:44and
28:45fire
28:46and all
28:46that
28:46stuff
28:47just as
28:48happens
28:48on the
28:49day of
28:49Pentecost
28:49by the
28:49way
28:50which is
28:51today
28:51but we
28:53have this
28:53manifestation
28:54of God's
28:55power
28:55at these
28:56events
28:57when Jesus
28:58came we
28:58had the
28:59manifestation
28:59of God's
29:00power
29:00in the
29:00miracles
29:01which Jesus
29:01did
29:01in his
29:02death
29:03and his
29:03resurrection
29:03his ascension
29:05to heaven
29:05and the
29:06sending of
29:06the Holy
29:06Spirit
29:07on the
29:07day of
29:07Pentecost
29:08which was
29:08also
29:08manifested
29:09with signs
29:10and wonders
29:11which came
29:11from God
29:12this kind of
29:14thing doesn't
29:14happen all
29:14the time
29:15only these
29:17rare events
29:17when they've
29:18happened in
29:18the Bible
29:18in between
29:20these things
29:20happening
29:21life goes
29:21on in a
29:22fairly normal
29:23sort of way
29:23God is still
29:25acting
29:25he's still
29:25answering prayer
29:26he's still
29:26saving souls
29:27he's still
29:28doing things
29:28but you don't
29:29have these
29:29major
29:30interventions
29:30now the
29:32second coming
29:33of Jesus
29:33is going
29:34to be
29:34the
29:34major
29:35major
29:36intervention
29:36in fact I
29:37think it's
29:37the biggest
29:37intervention
29:38of God
29:38since the
29:39creation
29:39because at
29:41this point
29:41Jesus is
29:42going to
29:42come
29:42this time
29:43not as
29:43the
29:43suffering
29:43servant
29:44not as
29:45the
29:45to suffer
29:47and to
29:47die
29:47to humble
29:48himself
29:49under the
29:49rule of
29:50men
29:50he's coming
29:51this time
29:51as king
29:52of kings
29:52and lord
29:53of lords
29:53with all
29:53the power
29:54of God
29:54at his
29:55disposal
29:55that's
29:56why it's
29:56described
29:57as the
29:57glorious
29:57appearing
29:58of our
29:59great
29:59God
29:59and Jesus
29:59Christ
30:01a glorious
30:02appearing
30:03when he
30:04comes
30:04he's going
30:05to change
30:05the way
30:06the world
30:06is run
30:07he's going
30:08to totally
30:08transform
30:09our world
30:10present
30:11world
30:11economic
30:12political
30:12system
30:13will be
30:13finished
30:13it'll be
30:14over
30:14read
30:16Revelation
30:16chapter
30:1618
30:17Babylon
30:17the great
30:18is
30:18fallen
30:18the whole
30:19commercial
30:20system
30:21is over
30:21it's
30:22capo
30:22finito
30:23nothing
30:24more
30:24left
30:24and if
30:26you look
30:26at some
30:27of the
30:27evils
30:27which are
30:28coming out
30:28of the
30:28present
30:28world
30:29system
30:29that's
30:29not a
30:30bad
30:30thing
30:30because
30:31there are
30:31a whole
30:31lot of
30:32demonic
30:32powers
30:32which are
30:33working
30:33through it
30:34and becoming
30:35even worse
30:35as time
30:36goes on
30:37even as they
30:38develop all
30:38this stuff
30:39like AI
30:39and there's
30:40potential for
30:40it becoming
30:41the means
30:42of destroying
30:42the world
30:43even if God
30:44doesn't move
30:45in first
30:45so we have
30:47all kinds
30:47of things
30:47which are
30:48going to
30:48change
30:49and also
30:53there'll be
30:54no more
30:54wars
30:54no more
30:55training in
30:55military
30:56academies
30:56no more
30:57arms
30:57production
30:57Isaiah 2
30:59tells you
30:59that
30:59nations will
31:00beat swords
31:01into plowshares
31:01they won't
31:02study war
31:02anymore
31:03no more
31:03war will take
31:04place
31:04praise the
31:05lord
31:05also the
31:07forces of
31:08antichrist
31:08and false
31:09prophecy
31:09will be
31:10totally
31:10eliminated
31:11and the
31:12end of
31:13all religions
31:14including
31:15nominal
31:16christianity
31:17certainly
31:18islam
31:19hinduism
31:20new age
31:20mysticism
31:21yoga
31:22the occult
31:23all that
31:24stuff
31:24will be
31:25finished
31:25the only
31:27religion
31:28or the
31:28only faith
31:29which will
31:29be left
31:29is worship
31:30of god
31:31the true
31:31god who
31:32made us
31:32through the
31:33messiah
31:33jesus

31:35holy spirit
31:35that will
31:36be the
31:37only religion
31:37which is
31:37allowed
31:38and it's
31:38not a

31:40relationship

31:46and confusion

31:49be thrown
31:49into the
31:50abyss
31:50be unable
31:51to influence
31:52the world
31:52during the
31:53thousand year

31:54which jesus
31:54is reigning
31:55on the
31:55earth
31:56tells you
31:58that in
31:58revelation
31:58chapter 20
31:59and he
32:03will be
32:03reigned
32:03there until
32:04he's
32:04released
32:04for a
32:05brief time
32:05at the
32:05end of
32:06the
32:06millennial
32:06kingdom
32:06before he
32:07strewn
32:08forever
32:08into hell
32:08with the
32:09fallen angels
32:10and all
32:10unsaved
32:11humans
32:12now is that
32:14sort of
32:14normal things
32:15happening on
32:15the earth
32:16anybody
32:17experienced
32:18anything like
32:18that happening
32:19no
32:20it's totally
32:21out of this
32:23world if you
32:23like it's
32:24god coming
32:25with power
32:25to change
32:26the world
32:26in which
32:26we live
32:27now i've
32:30studied this
32:30for years
32:31and i believe
32:31it but i
32:32still have
32:32difficulty
32:33thinking well
32:33could that
32:35really happen
32:35can it
32:36really be
32:37that god
32:37can reign
32:38on the
32:38earth
32:38can he
32:38really
32:39just move
32:40in in a
32:40moment of
32:40time and
32:41smash all
32:41this stuff
32:42up what
32:43he says is
32:43going to
32:44happen and
32:45it's going
32:45to happen
32:45because god
32:46is actually
32:46going to bring
32:46judgment on
32:47this world
32:47which has
32:48gone so
32:49far away
32:50from him
32:50and it
32:54is the
32:55blessed hope
32:56of the
32:56church
32:57and god
32:59can move
33:00in this
33:00way of
33:00course god
33:01can do
33:01anything
33:01he made
33:02the world
33:02he can
33:02do what
33:02he wants
33:03with the
33:03world
33:03and the
33:04bible tells
33:05us that
33:05in the
33:05end of
33:05days he's
33:06going to
33:06do what
33:07he wants
33:07to do
33:08and it's
33:08going to
33:08come to
33:09the end
33:10which will
33:10be the
33:11blessed hope
33:11and this is
33:16all tied up
33:16also with the
33:17resurrection of
33:18the dead
33:18because the
33:20second coming
33:21of jesus
33:21also brings
33:22an event
33:23which we
33:23call the
33:24rapture of
33:24the church
33:25which brings
33:26a resurrection
33:27of those
33:27who died
33:28before
33:28along with
33:29those who
33:29are alive
33:30at this
33:30present time
33:31we're caught
33:31up to
33:32meet the
33:32lord as
33:33he comes
33:33in the
33:34air
33:34and coming
33:35back to our
33:36theme of the
33:36blessed hope
33:37you see that
33:38there is a
33:39hope for those
33:40who believe in
33:40jesus that
33:42this life is
33:43not the
33:43end i think
33:45one of the
33:45reasons why
33:46people are
33:46depressed and
33:47i talk to
33:47people who
33:48hear about
33:48people who
33:49are depressed
33:49if you think
33:50that this
33:51life is all
33:51you've got
33:52and your
33:53life is pretty
33:54miserable and
33:55there's no
33:55chance it's
33:56going to get
33:56much better
33:57because you
33:58haven't got any
33:58money and the
33:59government's making
33:59things worse for
34:00you and all
34:01the conditions
34:02around you are
34:02going from bad
34:03to worse you've
34:04got every reason
34:05for being
34:05depressed because
34:07all you can see
34:08around you is bad
34:09stuff happening
34:09you can see bad
34:10stuff happening
34:10in your life you
34:11can't see any way
34:12out of it and
34:14it's not a good
34:15scenario if you
34:17believe in jesus you
34:18believe in the
34:18resurrection of the
34:19dead and you
34:19believe even if the
34:20worst thing happens
34:20to you and you
34:21you die or even
34:23if you're put to
34:23death then you're
34:25going to rise from
34:25the dead and when
34:27you rise from the
34:28dead you're going to
34:28be in a much better
34:29place than you are
34:30now one of our
34:32members died last
34:32week kathy i

34:34you that actually
34:35kathy used to sit
34:35in the front she
34:36died last week sad
34:38but she was in a
34:39bad way she was
34:40not well she was
34:41not in a nice
34:42condition is she
34:43better off now
34:44believes in jesus
34:46she's a million
34:46times better off
34:47a billion billion
34:48times better off
34:49and so death is
34:51not the end
34:52death is something
34:54which is overcome
34:55through jesus
34:56on peter chapter
34:57one it says
34:58blessed be the
34:58god and father
34:59our lord jesus
34:59christ who
35:01according to his
35:02abundant mercy
35:02has begotten us
35:03again to a living
35:04hope through the
35:05resurrection of
35:05jesus christ from
35:06the dead to
35:08inheritance
35:08incorruptible and
35:09undefiled that does
35:11not fade away
35:11reserved in heaven
35:12for you
35:13okay so if you
35:15believe in jesus
35:15you have a hope
35:17which is reserved
35:17for you in heaven
35:18and nothing can
35:19separate you from
35:20that love that
35:21hope in jesus
35:22christ
35:22so no matter
35:24what happens in
35:25your life the
35:26rest of your
35:26life here you
35:28have a hope for
35:29the future the
35:30blessed hope hope
35:31of the resurrection
35:32of jesus the
35:33messiah
35:33now in 1
35:35thessalonians
35:35chapter 4 he
35:37also tells us
35:37something very
35:38significant in
35:39the light of
35:39this he says
35:401 thessalonians
35:424 verse 16
35:44he says the
35:45lord himself
35:45will descend from
35:46heaven with a
35:47shout with the
35:47voice of an
35:48archangel with
35:49the trumpet of
35:49god and the
35:51dead in christ
35:51will rise first
35:52then we who
35:53are alive and
35:54remain will be
35:55caught up together
35:55with them in the
35:56clouds to meet
35:57the lord in the
35:57air thus we
35:58should also be
35:59with the lord
36:00therefore comfort
36:02one another with
36:03these words the
36:05event known as
36:06the rapture of the
36:07church why is it
36:08called the rapture
36:08of the church
36:09because it says
36:10that the lord is
36:13going to we're
36:14going to be
36:14caught up
36:15greek word is
36:16harpazo which is
36:18connected with the
36:18latin word
36:19rapieri which it
36:21becomes in english
36:21the rapture so
36:22it's being
36:22caught up seized
36:24away to meet
36:25the lord as he
36:25comes in the
36:26air we have a
36:28big debate amongst
36:29christians about
36:29whether that
36:30happens before in
36:31the middle or in
36:31the end of the
36:32tribulation i'm
36:33going to discuss
36:34that in more
36:35detail next time i
36:36speak on this
36:36subject but what
36:38is important is
36:38it's going to
36:39happen and again
36:40you're thinking
36:41about things which
36:41are out of your
36:42experience and hard
36:44to believe because
36:46this is totally out
36:48of anyone's
36:48experience there's
36:50one reference in
36:51the scriptures to
36:51it happening in
36:52the book of
36:52enoch or the
36:54book of genesis
36:54about a man called
36:55enoch it says
36:56walk with god and
36:57he was not for god
36:58took him but that
37:00was a long time ago
37:00that was right at
37:01the beginning and
37:03no one's had
37:03experience of
37:04anything like this
37:05so we think well
37:06how could it
37:07possibly happen
37:07in matthew's
37:09gospel jesus says
37:10one should be
37:10taken one should
37:11be left life
37:11be going on as
37:12normal suddenly one
37:13will be taken out
37:13of the world to
37:14meet with jesus
37:15and it's something
37:19which goes beyond
37:20our understanding
37:21we can't we
37:23haven't seen it
37:23happen we can't
37:24conceive of it
37:25happening and yet
37:26the bible says it's
37:27going to happen
37:27it says at this
37:29point that happens
37:30then the people
37:30who are dead will
37:32be reunited with
37:33their bodies
37:33they'll be taken
37:34from wherever
37:35they are now to
37:37be in resurrection
37:38bodies to be with
37:39the lord and
37:40they'll meet with
37:40the people who
37:41are alive at this
37:41time who will
37:42meet with the lord
37:43and be with him
37:44in the event
37:44called the rapture
37:45of the church
37:46says your body's
37:47going to be
37:47supernaturally changed
37:48according to
37:48corinthians from
37:49the body which is
37:50mortal and
37:52corruptible which
37:54means you're going
37:54to die and it's
37:55corruptible it has
37:56things going wrong
37:58with it like you
37:58might need glasses
37:59or hearing aids
38:01or you might have
38:02other kinds of
38:03things wrong with
38:03you and that's
38:05common condition of
38:06man but the bible
38:08says that there's a
38:09time coming when
38:09you're going to have
38:09a new body which
38:11will be without
38:11sickness without
38:12anything going wrong
38:13with it
38:14and which will be
38:14an immortal body
38:15is that a bit of
38:17a blessed hope for
38:18you hope so
38:19wonderful praise
38:21the lord and
38:23this is going to
38:24happen going to
38:25happen and it's
38:26going to happen
38:26at some point in
38:28the stage of the
38:28second coming of
38:29jesus christians
38:32like to argue about
38:33whether it happens

39:17is wrong then you
39:17go through the
39:18tribulation you're
39:19going to suffer and
39:20die possibly at the

39:22not such a good
39:23prospect but even if
39:25you die then you're
39:25going to be taken to
39:26be with the lord so
39:27that's a good prospect
39:27so either way if you
39:29believe in jesus you're
39:30going to win
39:30so i'm not going to
39:32get into the details of
39:33this one but just to
39:34mention that christians
39:35do have this issue so
39:38coming back to
39:38titus the key to
39:40having a hope in the
39:42lord's return second
39:44coming is that we've
39:45responded to the
39:45message of the first
39:46coming first message

39:51the time is fulfilled

41:43we should use the time

41:47bring other people into
41:48the kingdom as well we
41:50haven't done it then
41:51now's the day of
41:52salvation now's the day
41:53to put your trust in
41:56jesus and jesus is the
41:58only way another thing
42:00which people like to
42:01say today is well if
42:02i'm sincere and i
42:03follow my religion i'll
42:04be okay you won't
42:06because your religion
42:07cannot save you only
42:08jesus can save you
42:10jesus said i'm the way
42:11the truth and the life
42:12no one comes to the

42:19has appeared to all

42:31no one else has come
42:33anywhere near it only
42:35jesus because only
42:36jesus is our great
42:38god and savior who
42:40saved us from our

42:42heaven the first time
42:42to redeem us is
42:44coming the second
42:45time to judge the
42:46world in righteousness
42:46according to how we
42:48have responded to his
42:49message of the first
42:50coming so make sure
42:52you're on the right
42:53side jesus is coming
42:54again coming again this
42:56time in power and
42:57great glory with all
42:58the power of god at
42:59his disposal to put
43:01things right with
43:01what's going wrong with
43:02this world so we say

43:55help us to walk in the
43:56truth to do your will
43:57and we pray for the
43:58salvation of the lost
43:59pray for the people

44:04families for those who
44:05don't know you that they
44:06will come to believe in
