00:03A man has been charged with murder after a woman was found dead in a flat in Derbyshire.
00:08Police say they received reports that the body of a woman had been found in a flat at Ash Place in Normanton on Thursday.
00:15Thomas Turner has now been charged with the murder of the 47-year-old woman.
00:20The 63-year-old, of no fixed address, has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Southern Derbyshire Magistrates Court today.
00:27Plans to extend a stand at a Derbyshire football club to make space for new facilities are set for approval.
00:35Ilkeston Town Football Club wants to build a two-storey building at the south end of the New Manor Ground Stadium in Orsworth Road,
00:41containing a new gym and academy teaching space along with a matchday food outlet.
00:46The building would form part of the stand and would also include a suspended steel and glass canopy to the north-eastern side of the pitch
00:53to provide shelter for some spectators in the standing area.
00:56Errawashborough Council official have recommended the plans are approved, which will go before a meeting on Wednesday.
