Freaked Movie (1993) Trailer - Plot Synopsis: The story of Freaked centers on Ricky Coogan (Winter), a vain former child star hired to become the new celebrity spokesperson of Everything Except Shoes. His job is to quell fears amid reports that the company is using a mysterious toxic substance in its products, but he soon finds out that the reality is so much worse than the rumors. Upon traveling to South America to debunk the reports, he gets transformed and thrown into mad scientist Elijah C. Skuggs's (Randy Quaid) mutant amusement park, which is full of humans morphed by the substance. Winter and Quaid are joined by a strong supporting cast, too, including John Hawkes, William Sadler, Mr. T, Brooke Shields, Bobcat Goldthwait, Megan Ward, Morgan Fairchild, Michael Stoyanov, and Winter's old pal Reeves in an uncredited and unrecognizable turn as Ortiz the dog boy.

Adding to the '90s aesthetic is a soundtrack created by Henry Rollins, George Clinton, and The Butthole Surfers, the latter of whom also appeared in Freaked and previously starred in Winter and Stern's 1988 short Bar-B-Que Movie. Hardwicke also gave the film extra life through her production design years before becoming a famous filmmaker herself with Lords of Dogtown, Thirteen, and, most notably, Twilight. Attached as producers as well were Harry J. Ufland and Mary Jane Ufland.
