00:00So here we are with Joe, Cody, Paul. And then what has brought you guys to the Isle of Man?
00:09Well obviously the racing, the good weather and the bikes. And would you ever consider moving over here full time?
00:16Yeah of course we would. Gorgeous, gorgeous island. Love it. Definitely, I'll definitely move over tomorrow. Or today even.
00:22Extend your stay. And then what is it about the Isle of Man that you like so much, other than the racing?
00:30Well the community is absolutely fantastic. See we're having this bad weather and everyone's so welcoming, warming.
00:36Putting posts on TT groups saying, look anyone need any washing? We've got a camper van outside if your tents are going to get washed out.
00:42Just everyone comes together and everyone's like minded people. All have the same interests. And yeah, it's just a wonderful place to be.
00:49And then in terms of, if you could choose, because I assume you've done a little bit of exploring and stuff.
00:56If you could choose anywhere to live on the Isle of Man, where would it be?
01:00It's got to be the house we're renting down at the bottom of Braille.
01:04I go sleep.
01:05I go sleep.
01:06I go sleep?
01:07Yeah.
01:08Bottom of Braille down here.
01:10Fantastic.
01:11What a spot.
01:12Got a big house there.
01:13Lovely.
01:14Weather's not been so great so we've been able to nip back inside when the showers come.
01:17Beers are in the fridge.
01:19Funny enough, a house next door's on market at the minute.
01:23There you go then.
01:25Potentially a new place to live, the three of you's together.
01:28There you go.

01:46Oh thank you guys.
01:48I appreciate it.
01:49You're going to have to show us how we can get it so fast.

02:26Motorbikes, friendly, friendly locals.
02:27The whole place is spotless.
02:31And then, say the TT wasn't a thing, would you move over to the Isle of Man?
02:36A chance, no.
02:38Why not?
02:38I have to keep the TT going, man.
02:42I'm joking, I'm joking.
02:43I'm joking.
02:44I'm joking.
02:45I'm joking.
02:45Don't listen.
02:46You're joking.
02:47Would you move over to the Isle of Man?
02:49I possibly would.
02:50I've never been here before, but I like it already a lot.
02:52What's been your favourite place that you've been to?
02:54The bar.
02:55The bar.
02:56The bar.
02:57The bar, thank you.
02:58Give me a big camera, man.
02:59Bray Hill.
03:00Bray Hill.
03:00Bray Hill was the best place.
03:01Here you go.
03:02Bray Hill was the best place.
03:05One of us.
03:06Where's been...
03:0780 miles an hour.
03:08Yeah.
03:08Show me a great video, by the way.
03:09I know, it's going to be fabulous, isn't it?
03:11Where have you been, then, around the island?
03:16Jack's Bar.
03:17Jack's Bar?
03:18Jack's Bar.
03:18So, Douglas?
03:20Yeah.
03:20Douglas.
03:20We've only been in Douglas.
03:21We've only here two days.
03:22We've been in Douglas.
03:23Who are you?
03:23Yeah.
03:24We're newbies.
03:24What do you say?
03:27We're only in the door.
03:28Only in the door.
03:29So, you're only here for two days.
03:31Would you like a recommendation of somewhere to go?
03:33Yes.
03:34Yes, please.
03:34I think one of my favourite places I've borne here.
03:37I love Laxey.
03:39Laxey?
03:39Where have you been here?
03:40What happens to Laxey?
03:41What's the story there?
03:42Laxey's a lovely little village.
03:44If you want to do a little bit of explore, it's a nice place to just go.
03:48We've got a nice seafront.
03:50Laxey.
03:52Very good, yeah?
03:53Nice there.
03:54Yeah.
03:55That's it.
03:55So, do you know, just past, go through Onkin, keep going straight as if you're going to go towards
04:01Ramsey, and then Laxey's just like a little village.
04:04Look at this.
04:05Yeah, it's really nice.
04:06Yeah, you should too.
04:07You should too.
04:09Well, will you be coming back again after your short stay?
04:12I'm coming back in September for the classic TT.
04:16Yeah, definitely.
04:17Yes.
04:17Well, you're all merged out.
04:19Oh, we're merged out, yeah, yeah.
04:21It's a buzzer.
04:21Yeah, we're merged up.
04:23Yeah, we're ready.
04:24Yeah.
04:25Well, thank you very much, guys.
04:27Nice meeting.
04:27I appreciate you too, guys.
04:29Thank you so much.
04:31Woo-hoo, I'm a man.
04:32Hello, lady.
04:34Nice to meet you.
04:35Andrew.
04:36Andrew.
04:36Andrew Pawnsson.
04:37Christine.
04:39Irma.
04:39I'm Pete.
04:41And how long have you been here, guys?
04:44Since last Saturday, the first Saturday.
04:46Yeah, Saturday.
04:47Saturday.
04:47And are you enjoying yourselves?
04:49Yes.
04:50Just wish the weather was a bit better.
04:51I know that it's been awful, hasn't it, last night.
04:54Are you in a house or are you in a tent?
04:55In a house.
04:57So you're okay from last night's weather?
04:59Yeah, that's perfect.
05:00Fine from last night's weather.
05:02So, would you ever move over here permanently?
05:06I would.
05:06Yeah, I would.
05:08And why is that?
05:10Just a lovely island.
05:12Low crime rate, lovely scenery, decent people, some lovely great pubs, lovely beaches.
05:18Don't think there's much else.
05:19Some canny food as well, when you look about.
05:22And where are you from originally?
05:24Away from Durham.
05:25Durham.
05:26Where is Durham?
05:28North-east of England.
05:29North-east Durham.
05:30South of Newcastle.
05:31Everybody's heard of Newcastle, but nobody's heard of Durham.
05:32Durham.
05:33Durham.
05:33North of Middlesbrough.
05:35Well, where is it?
05:36Yeah.
05:36North of Middlesbrough, Durham.
05:38Well, now I know where it is.
05:39Whereabouts have you been on the island so far that you have really, really liked?
05:45I'll go around each one of you.
05:46Somewhere that you've really liked.
05:47Oh, Port Erran.
05:49Port Erran, Brad Ahead.
05:50In general?
05:51In general.
05:52Brad Ahead.
05:53Probably Brad Ahead.
05:54Port Erran's been my favourite place.
05:55Been there before, but yeah, still enjoy it there.
05:59I was going to say that.
06:01But I'll say Peel.
06:02A lovely pub in Peel called them.
06:04What is it called?
06:05The Mariner?
06:06The Marine.
06:07Marine.
06:07Yeah.
06:07The Marine.
06:08Good food.
06:09Good food.
06:09What about you, Queen?
06:10I think it would be Peel as well.
06:12Yeah, round the castle.
06:13Beautiful.
06:13Big males.
06:14Peel as well.
06:15Yeah.
06:16Yeah.
06:16Lost me hat in Peel and they found it for me.
06:18So nice people.
06:19There you go.
06:20Nice people.
06:21Nice people.
06:21So we're saying, if he's moved over here, potentially Port Erran, Peel is where he's
06:28want to live.
06:29Yeah.
06:30Definitely for us.
06:31Us too.
06:31Port St. Mary's nice as well.
06:33Yeah.
06:33Port St. Mary.
06:34Do you know, funnily enough, a boy that I work with, he lives in Port St. Mary and I
06:38think it's one of them things when people come over for the races, they don't, because
06:41it's such a small village, they don't tend to go around there really, the visitors, but
06:47it's lovely down there.
06:48It's beautiful, isn't it?
06:49Lovely place, yeah.
06:50Port St. Mary.
06:51We stayed there every part, haven't we?
06:52We stayed there, yeah.
06:54Well, maybe next year you still have a house here and be relocated.
06:58Need a lottery win.
07:00I know, yeah, I know.
07:01The property prices are more expensive, aren't they, for a similar way you get at home.
07:06I think like a two-bedroom semi would be about $220,000, something like that, if you're
07:10looking.
07:11I know.
07:11It was a nice $3.5 million in Kurt Michael for sale.
07:16That would do us.
07:17Well, who knows, in the next year, one of us could win the lottery.
07:20I haven't checked the premium bonds for this month yet, so you never know.
07:24We'll check the premium bonds.
07:26And we'll go from there.
07:27Well, thank you very much, guys.
07:29It was lovely to meet you.
