00:00I love seeing you back on our screens with Abbott.

00:02I love the Lindsay Lohan renaissance we're having, too.

00:04I mean, how great is it to see her back into acting?

00:07It's wonderful.

00:08I've always been so proud of her.

00:11I mean, really, when she was struggling,

00:13I was proud of that little girl that I knew

00:15and that I watched take care of her siblings

00:17and being an incredible hard worker

00:20and someone who stood by set etiquette

00:23and always said please and thank you

00:25to every single person in the crew.

00:26And, I mean, just well-behaved, well-mannered,

00:30enduringly talented.

00:32And I was so happy that she, you know,

00:37that is a very delicate age to be thrown into the snake pit

00:40that is Hollywood and try to take care of it on her own.

00:44And, you know, what was difficult was that she had siblings

00:48that needed to be watched on the East Coast.

00:50I know her mother tried and I know her father loves her so much.

00:55And with all of that, whether you're in the business or not,

00:58you may experience a time where you're struggling a bit.

01:02But, I mean, God bless her.

01:04You know what we've seen since then,

01:06and all respect to the business that we're all in,

01:10is that the visibility of these young women in that time,

01:15there was such a push towards making them a story

01:18that was something that would make us all return

01:22and see what's going to happen next,

01:24like a soap opera almost.

01:26And it was very difficult for them

01:27because they were just living their lives.

01:29But the minute a foot slipped,

01:32it was worldwide news.

01:34So I think that we've changed a little bit since then.

01:37And I think that we've all become,

01:40if not more forgiving, at least more understanding.

01:43It's less okay to torment these,

01:46especially the young women,

01:47like they used to do about their eating.

01:49And this one's too skinny.

01:50Oh, now she's not skinny enough.

01:52And it was, depending on the picture that you took

01:55or which week it was.

01:56So, I mean, of course they were going to be

01:58going through these struggles.

02:00And now she grew up into the most beautiful young woman

02:04and wonderful mother that I always knew she would be.

02:07It's so beautiful to see.

02:09And now we have Figure Friday coming in

02:10and representing some of those iconicals.

02:12So I'm so excited.

02:13Wait till you see it.

02:14Just wait.
