00:04Yeah, it's double digits now.

00:05Right, I know.

00:06I mean, could you kind of give us any context of where things kind of stand with the two of you now?

00:10Yeah, the way that you see the rest of season two shaping out are the real conversations Kala and I have.

00:16And at the end, whenever, you know, I think it's the final episode, you can see how that all plays out.

00:21And we've really been broken up since then, still have a tremendous amount of respect for each other.

00:27And still hold each other in the highest regard.

00:29But yeah, we've been separated since then.

00:31Do you regret how you handled the family situation?

00:35Like telling the family that she wasn't a fan of them, pretty much, right?

00:40Yeah, yeah.

00:41There was definitely some foot-in-mouth moments, without a doubt, that I regret.

00:45And I wish I would have held things tighter to my chest.

00:47You know, hindsight's always 20-20, but without a doubt, there are some learning lessons to be gathered from season two

00:52and how I handled or reacted to situations that, moving forward, I think are going to be good learning lessons for me.

00:58Do you feel, did the family apologize about how they maybe didn't respond when her sister passed away?

01:06Yeah.

01:06I mean, we all, yeah, we all, whether, I can't remember if it was on camera or not, but we all ended up, you know, talking it through with her.

01:12And kind of just let her know our side of kind of that situation and why we did what we did or why we didn't do what we didn't do.

01:19And it was such a tough situation because the timing of it is what, the context around the timing is what the viewer doesn't get to see.

01:27So whenever I told my family not to talk to Kala anymore, that was one day before her sister passed away.

01:34We had this big blow up between Kala and my family, literally 24 hours before her sister passed.

01:40So then when her sister passed, everyone was like, what do we do?

01:43Yeah.

01:44We're the last people she'd want to hear from right now.

01:45So it sounds awful and rightfully so from an audience perspective, when you're like, why would they not reach out?

01:50That happened one day before.

01:52Timing is it.

01:53It was, it was really bad timing.

01:55Granted, we obviously, all of us are still saying we could have been better in that moment.

02:00Especially when you look at it from like an, like we're looking at it from an audience.

02:03Now we're rewatching it back and you're like, yeah, we, why would we not have that?

02:07Right.

02:07Did the two of you speak at all?

02:09Any communication or like you said, you and Kala?

02:12Since the episodes have aired?

02:13Yes.

02:14Yes, absolutely.

02:15Absolutely.

02:16Yeah.

02:16There was a moment where, you know, we watched the first couple of episodes a couple of months

02:20ago, just, you know, just seeing them for the first time.

02:22And whenever I left, I called Kala and just said, Hey, I just want you to know my family

02:26and I, we handled that wrong.

02:28There were so many ways we could have handled that better.

02:30And I do want to apologize for that.
