00:18What's the play tonight in Los Angeles?

00:21Yeah, you take a look also at the first start of the year for Clayton Kershaw.

00:25It didn't go all that well.

00:26Four innings pitch, five earned runs.

00:27Actually, through two innings in a game that he started versus the Mets

00:30about a week ago, week and a half ago, two innings pitch, six earned runs out.

00:34Did he leave that for injury?

00:35Was that a rain out or was that a – did he get ejected from that game?

00:38Like, what happened in that game where only threw two innings?

00:40I can't remember.

00:40I thought there might have been a story behind that one.

00:43Okay.

00:43So, five innings pitch in his last outing at Cleveland.

00:47Only one earned run giving up and scattered six hits here.

00:49So, maybe that will help.

00:50You take a look at that Mets lineup over the first 30 days –

00:54Hasn't hit left-handed pitching all that well.

00:58Juan Soto is a lefty versus a left-handed pitcher.

01:01The rest of that lineup outside of Mark Vientos has struggled a bit here.

01:04But Clayton Kershaw, again, if we can sort of feed off of that last start that he had,

01:07maybe things are starting to point in the right direction for him.

01:10If we take a look at Tyler McGill on the mound today,

01:12struggling a little bit with left-handed batters over the past 30 days,

01:15but it's been pretty clean.

01:17But the one thing we understand about that lineup for the Dodgers,

01:19one through eight, one through eight, it always looks great.

01:21And also, maybe getting back into the lineup tonight is Mookie Betts.

01:25That should help.

01:26Otani, Betts, Freeman, Hernandez, Smith, Muncy Piaz in the first seven tonight.

01:30I do, again, give the slight lean to the Dodgers as I did last night.

01:33And they lost that game because I didn't think Blackburn would be very good.

01:36McGill is better than Blackburn.

01:38We'll see how he performs tonight.

01:39But Clayton Kershaw may be rounding into form here in 2025.
