The Nicaraguan government has continued to frame its actions as resistance against imperialist forces while simultaneously strengthening its control over the country. teleSUR

00:00In Nicaragua, the government gave recognition to the military leadership in the country

00:03and at the same time denounced imperialist crimes in the world.

00:07Co-presidents Daniel Ortega and Rosario Murillo laid an act in recognition

00:12of the military's commitment to the defense of national sovereignty.

00:16During the event, the Nicaraguan authorities strongly condemned the Israeli genocide in Gaza

00:21for the Zionist regime with the support of the West daily massacres to Palestinian civilians.

00:27The Sandinista government reiterated its support for regional integration

00:31but denounced the right-wing and fascist governments' boycott any agreement,

00:36launching offensive remarks against the proposals for peace and sovereignty in the bloc.

00:51We cannot applaud and support totally brutal terrorist acts.

00:57where children are being slaughtered, every day, in the Gaza Strip,

01:02killing the Palestinian people.

01:04And it is terrible to hear the Prime Minister of Israel announce that he is going to wipe them out.

01:24and that they are going to take over all of that territory.
