00:04iPhones can they save your life in this video i want to know how many iPhones does it take to

00:10stop an ak-74 bullet now this ak-74 russian heritage and i'm going to be making my russian

00:16heritage proud today by destroying up to eight iPhones i'm going to see which phone the bullet

00:21will stop at i've got three six pluses a couple iphone sixes and smaller ones and an s6 in the

00:26very back uh just in case but i don't expect it to get past four the bullet i think will deflect and

00:32who knows but let's just see what happens and how many iPhones would you have to have in your pocket

00:37in order to save your life so here i've got a steel core bullet this can travel at up to 2,900

00:42feet per second this thing will totally obliterate these guys so unfortunately i couldn't afford a

00:48$100,000 slow motion camera i worked with what i had and these are the phones that we will be destroying

00:53one of them is an iphone 6 clone just so you know i don't expect the bullet to make it that far

00:58so here's the setup let's see how many iPhones it takes to stop a bullet all right now here's the

01:02moment of truth how many iPhones would you have to carry in your pocket in order for them to save

01:07your life

01:12and the answer to that question is five iPhones the bullet pierced the first four and landed in the

01:30screen of the fifth one which is also the iphone 6 clone i didn't really expect the bullet to make

01:35it so far but it absolutely shredded through them now this is a steel core ak-74 bullet which also

01:42has some light armor piercing capability notice how the intensity of the bullet increases as it moves

01:48on through the iphones and no not a single one survived number four absolutely took the biggest

01:54impact it was insane it completely bent the frame in but the cheap iphone 6 clone actually managed to

02:00capture that bullet inside of the display all right so now that we've determined you'll need to carry

02:05around five iphones in order to save your life from a bullet let's go ahead and try and aim at a

02:09different portion of the display three two one now this time when shooting in the middle the bullet

02:22managed to punch its way through five iphones and land on the sixth all right so one iphone actually

02:28survived so uh so as you guys can see this iphone has survived the touch screen still works where the

02:41bullet impacted but this was the last stop on the bullets hit list this iphone 5s survived the last

02:47impact once the bullet was slowed down so overall i'd say about take six iphones to save your life in case

02:54someone shoots at you so you got to have them one up on another and you'll be good galaxy fans are

02:59going to be happy so the galaxy s6 did survive let's go ahead and see if we can fix that with a solid

03:05shotgun slug three two one three two one

03:11so if someone's coming at you with a 12 gauge and a solid slug get the hell out of the way not even

03:26your six or eight iphones in your pocket will make you immortal and because why not let's shoot it one
