00:00What's up guys, EverythingApplePro here, and another really big test right around June.

00:04So last year we tested how many iPhones it took to stop an AK-74 bullet.

00:09The answer was about 5 to 6.

00:11But when it comes to the Galaxies, I really want to see how they compete with Apple on the level of bulletproofing.

00:16So right here, I've got about a .22 caliber basic bullet for an AR-15.

00:21And we've got a whole setup over here of Galaxy S7s, S6s, an S5s, and an S4s.

00:27So basically, how does Apple vs. Samsung compete when it comes to bulletproofing their phones?

00:32I know they're not specified for it, but you never know when you're going to need to stop a bullet from entering your heart.

00:37Anyways, same setup as last year.

00:39We've got a whole row of them.

00:41We've got a lot of guns.

00:50Let's do this.

00:51So most of these are working.

00:53They are leftover phones from earlier tests, but the S7 edge up front, the S7 back, they do work.

01:00The iPhones themselves, you know, they're more hit and miss.

01:02But these guys are all working.

01:04So here is the gun in question, the AR-15, pretty much from point blank.

01:09It's not a very powerful gun, but it will penetrate pretty deep.

01:12I'm hoping about five phones in.

01:15Working Galaxy S7, another S7 over here.

01:17So iPhones first, just because we want to see the healthy competition between them.

01:21And here we go, we're about to start.

01:23Ear protection, eye protection.

01:25Let's do this.

01:26iPhones first in three, two, one.

01:33We did get a pretty good shot.

01:35So total devastation on the iPhones part.

01:38The iPhone 6S, I mean, I highly doubt any of these are still working.

01:42Yeah, no life.

01:44But the bullet did travel through a good four and did stop on the fifth in the iPhone 6 Plus shell.

01:50And I mean, man, it took five iPhones to stop that bullet.

01:55Now, the galaxies are more glass, so there's certainly more fragile materials.

01:59Who knows how it will go?

02:00I'm really, really curious to see how these are going to compare.

02:03So it takes about five iPhones to bulletproof yourself, prevent that bullet from entering your body.

02:07Let's see when it comes to the galaxies, you know, if they are more durable or less durable when it comes to bullet resistance.

02:13With the Galaxy S7s in front, I got three of them here.

02:16Let's do this.

02:17I think, personally, I think it'll take about six.

02:19So one extra, but who knows?

02:22In the galaxies, it goes in three, two, one.

02:26So, literally, every single Galaxy got a piece of the action.

02:37Does the last one still work?

02:39It didn't penetrate it completely, but it is damaged, and I can't seem to get it to work.

02:46Oh, shoot, it's catching fire.

02:50All right, so our Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge is about to explode.

02:56It's definitely smoking.

02:57The battery has been pierced.

02:58So we definitely got a lot of smoke coming out from every single one.

03:02The iPhones certainly didn't smoke this much, but wow.

03:05So in case you guys were wondering, the answer when it comes to bulletproofing is the iPhones.

03:09They certainly are more durable.

03:11The glass just lets the bullet through, and wow.

03:15The iPhones certainly had more carnage, but these aren't as durable when it comes to stopping bullets.

03:20All right, so round two.

03:21We're going to go ahead and try it again, see if we can get a different result.

03:24We're going to go ahead and shoot on the bottom of the Galaxy and top of the iPhones,

03:28see if anything is different here.

03:31So AR-15, try number two.

03:34In three, two, one.

03:39Let's see what the result is this time.

03:51All right, so it looks like the bullet actually hit the sixth Galaxy and deviated off of the

03:56edge right here.

03:57So a couple wires sticking out.

04:00Ouch.

04:01But man, the iPhone still did very, very good.

04:04It still stopped.

04:05Oh, actually, no.

04:07The sixth iPhone was affected this time.

04:09It looks like the iPhone still works.

04:13Hey, not completely bulletproof, but somewhat still working.

04:17Awesome, awesome results.

04:19So verdict still stands.

04:21iPhones are the better ones when it comes to bulletproofing.

04:23So as a finale, let's go ahead and shoot the heck out of these phones because, you know,

04:27why not?

04:28They're already destroyed.

04:29So we are fighting a war on consumerism.

04:32These phones are the target.

04:33Let's do this.

04:42You guys haven't been innovating lately.

05:16But the Galaxy S7 is still standing.

05:21Pretty solid.

05:22It took so many hits.

05:23Yet still is in one piece, basically.
