00:00But I want to take a moment here to discuss which programs in the major conferences,

00:05Power Four conferences, have had the best offseason. Now, it's going to involve transfer

00:10portal, but I looked at other issues, coaching changes, coaching continuity, even high school

00:15recruiting, and this is what I came up with. First off, ACC, going to go with Clemson.

00:22Dabo Sweeney, first time, has started to dip his toes into the transfer portal pool.

00:27Not a major splash, but just the fact that he's upgrading through the portal to me is a big win.

00:33I also love the addition of defensive coordinator Tom Allen from Penn State. That defense,

00:40tons of talent, really didn't make a lot of big plays last year, needed a shakeup. I think Tom

00:46Allen will bring that. So Clemson for the ACC, honorable mention to Miami, by the way. Mario

00:52Cristobal continues to do a great job in the portal. Now, Big 12, we've talked a lot about

00:57Texas Tech for good reason. Going to continue to talk about the Red Raiders. Texas Tech is proving

01:03the concept that you can spend your way to a better roster. In fact, down in Lubbock,

01:09they think they have potentially their best roster ever at Texas Tech. Major upgrades on the defensive

01:16line. Major upgrades on the offensive line. Added some new weapons in the receiving core. Terrence

01:22Carter, the tight end out of Louisiana. Reggie Virgil from the MAC. So Texas Tech, massive upgrades.

01:30Quintessential Big 12, by the way, Scott. Five teams at plus 650. Texas Tech, one of them.

01:37I think they should be the favorite right now. Now, Big 10, Penn State, another buzzy team that we've

01:42talked a lot about. Great offseason. They lose Tom Allen at defensive coordinator. What do they do?

01:48They upgrade with Jim Knowles. And not only do they upgrade, but they poach you from their rival,

01:54Ohio State. So great defensive coordinator addition. Retain all of their stars. Drew Aller,

02:00Nick Singleton, Katron Allen. Deny Dennis Sutton and Zane Duran on defense. Penn State, great offseason.

02:07Just one Big 10 title under James Franklin. So if not now, when? And finally, SEC,

02:12thought long and hard about Auburn, Oklahoma. Both teams have done great in the offseason. I think

02:18Ufreeze finally has the talent on offense to explode. But I'm going to go with LSU. I'm

02:24sticking with LSU. Plus 700 to win the SEC. You keep Garrett Nussmeyer. Brian Kelly finally has

02:31coaching continuity. No major changes. Massive upgrades in talent, both through the portal and

02:37through high school recruiting. Harlem Berry, the running back. DJ Pick at the corner. Could play

02:42right away. So some really big offseasons for these P4 schools. Next week, what do you say
