00:01Am I about to be so embarrassed?
00:04Here I am, trying to trip up Lucy one more time,
00:07because I have no shame and I'm a terrible person.
00:09This one, super straightforward.
00:11It's classic.
00:12Ray gave me a sparkling mystery wine,
00:15trying to figure out where it's from and what it is.
00:18Oh my god, I'm actually very nervous.
00:20I feel like the bubbles subsided quickly,
00:21and they're kind of fine.
00:23It's not like super, super carbonated.
00:26It smells kind of like tangerine and lemon peels,
00:29apples, a little bit of honey.
00:34That's delightful.
00:35Mellow, balanced, the acidity is not kind of crazy
00:38in one direction, but it has this kind of like
00:41minerally quality on the finish that's a little bit stony,
00:44which I really like actually.
00:46I think this is a well-made wine, it's really delicious.
00:48I'm really torn between a super well-made Prosecco
00:51and a non-vintage Cava, but I'm gonna go with the latter.
00:54I think this is a Cava, made of a blend
00:56of Spanish sparkling wine grapes.
00:58Let's see if it's from right.
00:59Is this about to humiliate me?
01:01Am I about to be so embarrassed?
01:03I'm terrified to open this.
01:05It's Prosecco, it's well-made Prosecco.
01:08This is Mineta's Valdo Biadene Prosecco,
01:11Superiore, DOCG, Brute.
01:13Thank you, Ray.
01:14I feel like I was kind of toggling between Cava and Prosecco,
01:18and the kind of yeasty notes that I was getting
01:21made me hop over to Spain,
01:22but I'm feeling good about it because I like this wine,
01:24and I like what I see out of the bottle.
01:26So, cheers.
