Women filmed in bathroom without their consent, former housemate to be sentenced over violation

A woman says she felt violated after she discovered she'd been secretly filmed by her male housemate in their Sydney share house. The man has admitted to illegally recording his female housemates with a hidden camera in a bathroom and in one of their bedrooms.

00:06It was like a completely safe, normal environment to be in.

00:10But months after moving out, she'd learned she'd been violated by her former housemate.

00:15Luis Alberto Cancino Mina set up a secret camera shaped like a pen.

00:21It filmed Sarah and two other women in a bathroom and in one of their bedrooms.

00:26You felt violated, scared, confused.

00:31I couldn't believe that someone would do such a thing.
