00:06It really is the same old story for Carolina out again in the Eastern Conference Finals.

00:12Do you think at all it requires some level of change in terms of the way you guys play throughout an entire season and into the playoffs?

00:20Like what? What do you recommend?

00:22I just mean style of play. I'm not making recommendations.

00:24That's how I think they play.

00:26They're the standard now.

00:30I see out, in, four-check, hard, wait for your chance, try to capitalize.

00:35I mean, it's hard hockey.

00:38If anything, we've got to figure out how to get that much to our game.

00:42But that's the standard right there.

00:46I mean, I feel like that's been our game for a long time.

00:49They've kind of picked it up the last couple years and made it that much better.

00:53So that's what we've got to get.

00:54Oh, so he's suggesting that the Panthers stole their plans from him?

01:07When he played, he got it done.

01:10When he coaches, he can't get it done because the players aren't as good as him.

01:15When he played, he was a man's man on the ice and he got it done.

01:20And the bottom line is, his guys don't play as well as he did.

01:27They're just not as good as he was.

01:29He won the Stanley Cup because he was a badass.

01:33And his players are, they're really good, but they're not badasses.

01:38You know what the Panthers are?

01:39They didn't steal anything from Carolina.

01:41They're just badasses.

01:43When you go to three straight cup finals, you're a badass.

01:45When you lose every year in Eastern Conference Finals, you're just not as good as Rod was

01:52When Rod played, he hoisted.

01:53When they play, they fondle themselves because they have nothing else to do when the series

01:58is over than to touch themselves.

02:00The bottom line is, they can't do anything because they're getting beat by a better team.

02:05And if they had a guy like Rod Brindamore playing for him, maybe they'd win.

02:08What they need is a guy that's a badass that can get it done.

02:12You know, like Verhage does, like Kachuk does, like Barkoff does, like Bennett does.

02:19They don't have that guy.
