00:00DRS entering game number four last night, Indiana an ever so slight home favorite laying two, two and a half points at close, less than a dollar and a half in terms of winning outright on the money line in our lowest over under of the Eastern Conference Finals in any of our four games pregame.
00:17It was 219 and a hook. That thing was dead over from the very, very start. A 78 point first quarter between the two and the Pacers take that commanding 3-1 series advantage with a 130-121 win in a high scoring affair last night in downtown Indy.
00:36The Pacers comfortably cover as a two and a half point home favorite and that total of 219 and a hook does in fact sky over.
00:44We will remember game four for a lot in the Eastern Conference Finals here in 2025.
00:49The Pacers now just a single win away from an appearance in the NBA Finals for the first time in two and a half decades.
00:56But it will also be known, DRS, as the Tyrese Halliburton game. 35 points, 15 assists, 12 rebounds without committing a single turnover.
01:06The only player in NBA playoff history to accomplish that feat, leading the Pacers to the 3-1 series lead.
01:14It's crazy. Look at the box score for the New York Knicks in the starting lineup here.
01:17You had Brunson go for 31. You had Carr-Anthony Towns 24. O.G. Ananobi 22.
01:21Mikel Bridges 17 points. Like, that's good enough. And pseudo-starter Josh Hart, who comes off the bench and plays starter minutes,
01:27he chips in with 12 points and 11 rebounds, and you still lost this basketball game.
01:31And look at the final score. Yes, it was under double digits, but entering into the fourth quarter, this game was a wrap at this point.
01:36The only thing you were waiting for was, well, is this going to be another miraculous collapse by one team with a furious comeback?
01:41And you never got that here. And by the way, watching the game starting out, yes, Indiana was hot,
01:46but I thought Jalen Brunson might be going for a 50-burger the way he started that first quarter yesterday.
01:50But things just didn't work in the Knicks direction. Why? They're just not as deep.
01:54They're just not as talented as the Pacers, which sounds crazy when you see that starting lineup.
01:58It's all about interlocking and interworking of the starting five and using your bench.
02:02It just seems like the brand of basketball for the Pacers is, if you're open, get yours.
02:07And for the New York Knicks, it's like, oh, I got the basketball now? Okay, clear out.
02:10Let me go one-on-one and shoot a fadeaway jump shot like Mikel Bridges does repeatedly the entire game.
02:15There's one thing we know. Jalen Brunson is an elite ball handler, an elite scorer, one-on-one.
02:20It looks like the Knicks go, well, if he's going to get his, I'm going to get mine as well.
02:23And it just doesn't fit here. We're not saying the Knicks aren't good.
02:26They're in the Eastern Conference Finals. Of course they're good.
02:28But this brand of basketball that the Pacers play is like the opposite end of the spectrum than the Knicks here.
02:33It's fun to watch. It's free-flowing. And who's ever open is going to get theirs,
02:37as opposed to saying, all right, trip up court. It's my time to shine. Let me go one-on-one.
02:41Three-to-one series for the Pacers, Ben. We talked about it before the series started.
02:45We like the Pacers. I didn't know we might be getting the Pacers in five.
