00:00Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim expressed confidence that the partnership between ASEAN, the Gulf

00:06Cooperation Council and China could forge a future that is more connected, more resilient

00:12and more prosperous for generations to come.

00:15ASEAN, GCC and China collectively represent a combined GDP of $24.87 trillion and growing exponentially

00:28with a population of approximately $2.15 billion and growing slowly.

00:36The collective scale offers vast opportunities to synergize our markets, deepen innovation

00:43and promote cross-regional investment.

00:46Anwar also pointed out that each region has its own strength that complements the others.

00:52GCC now becoming center for financial strength, AI and digital and of course their core pillar

01:03energy.

01:04China has transformed not only China but also regional economy and the international scene.

01:12With the capacity to embark and effect change and reform gigantic strides in many areas.

01:25First in terms of effective methods in battling the issue of poverty.

01:35very effective and then of course in terms of their economic performance and excellence and their

01:48performance in digitalization and AI and new technology.

01:52In ASEAN, of course, as I said and repeatedly said in many meetings, the friendly, trust and working

02:06collaboration between countries is unrivaled.

02:10We work together, we think together.

02:13In 2023, ASEAN's GDP reached $3.8 trillion, making it the world's fifth largest economy.

02:21That same year, trade between ASEAN and the GCC totaled $130.7 billion, with foreign direct investment

02:28inflows of $390.2 million.

02:32China remained ASEAN's largest trading partner with $696.7 billion in trade and $17.3 billion in FDI.

02:43Meanwhile, Chinese Premier Li Qiang also expressed hope for accelerated free trade agreement talks

02:48between ASEAN and the GCC.

02:51China and the TNC have completed the 3.0 standard international trade agreement

02:57and the international trade agreement.

03:02We also hope that all countries will be ready to complete the agreement with the international trade agreement.

03:10To make a higher level of trade agreement,

03:13We hope that our global and international trade agreement will increase the minimum value of 1 over 4-4 billion.

03:25By then completing this trade agreement with the three parts,

03:29we'll be able to expand a bigger ,

03:35and more on-camera revenue.
