Blossom Boutique Opens in Marmion Road Southsea

Blossom Boutique has moved from Palmerston Road to Marmion Road in Southsea.

00:00Hello, my name is Eva Roboro and I'm the owner of Blossom Boutique.

00:04So tell me a little bit about the business.

00:06So I've opened my florist eight years ago almost and this is our third location. Hopefully third

00:14I'm lucky. First one was in Osborne Road, then Palmerson Road and we moved and opened yesterday

00:21in Marmon Road. So tell me why the move? So I think it would be much better football for us.

00:29We're going to be seen much better as well. It's a lovely building and I was sharing the

00:35previous one with my friend Freya Rose and she's going to expand and she's going to have a nice

00:43showroom in her premises there. So I came here and I took another friend with me, Paulina from Makana

00:52Massage Therapy and she's doing amazing Hawaiian massages. She's getting ready,

00:59she's still not ready to open, but I think in one, two weeks time she can welcome her customers.

01:04So tell me what the reaction's been like of the business moving to Marmon Road.

01:09So I had so many nice people coming in, neighbours and businesses. They were so,

01:16so happy, especially this road here. There are two little girls who are so excited. They were

01:21every day, they were coming when we were referring, asking when is the big opening day. They were so

01:27excited. They came yesterday, 5 past 12 to buy things because they could not wait. So we are

01:34feeling very, very welcomed and we are happy here. Just tell me some of the services that you offer.

01:41Obviously you do flowers, but is that a range of events that you do them for? So tell me a little bit

01:47about that. Yes. So, um, our main business is everyday floristry bunches for birthday anniversaries,

01:55but we do a lot of weddings and events as well. Um, we also planning to do more workshops in a new

02:03place. That's why we have, we planned it differently to have more space in the middle and we're gonna,

02:10I think we're gonna be offering hand parties as well, like flower crown making workshops, um,

02:16flower arranging classes. I was thinking to do like a monthly flower club. Then obviously, um,

02:24sympathy, tributes, we can do those, any kind of company arrangements, plants also, um, big plants for

02:35offices and offices and house spaces. So everything what you can imagine about flowers and plants.
