00:03Across the world, Scotland is synonymous with traditional music, dance and literature,

00:08as well as our unparalleled festivals held not just in Edinburgh but across the country.

00:12I'm Jane Bradley, Arts and Culture Correspondent at The Scotsman and Scotland on Sunday.

00:17Millions of us every year visit our theatres, museums and galleries, but I want to get behind

00:21the scenes and show you not only what is happening with the arts in Scotland, but how the incredible

00:25shows, exhibitions and performances are put together.

00:29I will ensure that issues facing the arts sector are top of our news agenda, whether

00:33that is funding or other barriers which prevent their creative work from being showcased as

00:37it should be.

00:38I will not be afraid to speak out for the thousands of people who are employed in arts and culture

00:42organisations across Scotland and make sure that their voices are heard.
