00:00Every time you see an elephant logging in person, it's shocking.
00:06Tiny is 55 years old male bull elephant that has literally been logging his whole life.
00:16From sunup to sundown, seven days a week, his job was to pull trees behind him.
00:22Hey everyone, on another rescue mission here in southern Thailand.
00:26Southern Thailand actually has a little bit of a civil war going on,
00:31so I wasn't able to bring any volunteers. I'm all here by myself.
00:35Tiny was surrounded by people that were carrying spears.
00:39Probably within the first five minutes of me hanging out with Tiny, I saw them spear him.
00:47And I was like, oh man, this is incredibly sad.
00:49And I knew right then we got to get this elephant out of here, obviously he's in hell.
00:54You don't need to be an elephant expert to see that his head is sunken in.
00:58He's clearly starving, malnourished. You can see his spine. You should never be able to see an elephant's spine.
01:05Thankfully, we were able to negotiate his freedom.
01:10And then we brought him to an elephant sanctuary following giants.
01:15It's an amazing place. I love it there. It's 80 acres with other fellow rescues.
01:20Any time you get to see an elephant walk free for the first time, it's incredible.
01:27It's an incredible feeling knowing, wow, this elephant has been pulling trees behind him for 55 years.
01:34And now he'll never know that life again.
01:37He went for his first lamp, which was just absolutely incredible to see that.
01:48He's saying, oh extra développier people.
01:50He's gonna be able to sleep.
01:50He's coming for him.
01:51He's got his own hand, but of course he's like this guy.
01:52So...
01:54God Sonraki
