Pring delighted to sign new contract with Bristol City

00:00Bristol City have announced that defender Cameron Pring has signed a new contract at the Robins

00:06and will continue to play his football at Ashton Gate.

00:10After this season, the ups from it, I've always wanted to stay longer.

00:18Being from Bristol, I'm delighted to sign another three years.

00:23I've obviously spent a lot of time away from the club as well.

00:26You mentioned 149 appearances, it could have been a lot more, but I'm delighted to extend it

00:34and hopefully get those appearances up a little bit more.

00:37I think last season, obviously you have the FA Cup runs and stuff like that,

00:42but last season getting to the playoffs, it gives you a little bit of bite to try and progress more

00:49and go one further really.

00:52It was a really, really frustrating end to it, but I think all of the boys can be proud of where we got to.

00:59We've come a long way in the years that I've been a first-team player here.

01:04Sort of progressed every single year, so hopefully, like I said, we can do one better next year and go again.

01:11And Bristol Rovers head coach Daryl Clark has stressed the importance of the Gats getting their recruitment right this summer.

01:51but the connection's the key in the culture and making sure everyone's connected from the board

01:56to the supporters, to the players, to the management.
