00:00What if I told you that you can eat some of the best soba of your life inside of a subway station
00:04in Japan? That's right, inside the Asakusa station is this unsuspecting udon restaurant,
00:10Soba Udon Monju. As you walk up, you'll see a bunch of buttons, and this is how you order.
00:15There are photos with prices so you can get an idea of what's offered, and once you decide,
00:19you can match that up to the button and press to order. Within a few minutes,
00:22these highly trained chefs will start whipping up some udon noodles until you're served right
00:26there on the counter in the subway station. I ordered udon kakiage, which is essentially
00:30chopped up vegetables made into a fritter on top of the udon and the soup, of course.
00:34All right, so how do you find this mystical udon shop? First off, you're going to search
00:38for Asakusa station on Google Maps, and if you can find entrance or exit number eight,
00:44that is where you're going to find soba udon manju. You might not expect much for a meal
00:48that's cooked next to a subway train, but if you say that, then you've probably never been to Japan.
