Cllr Paul Bott talks about the new barriers at King's Hill Park, Darlaston which have been installed to prevent off-road motorcycles entering the park.
Transcript
00:00My name is Councillor Paul Bott. We've had a lot of anti-social behaviour on Kingshill Park.
00:06Residents have been bloated with this problem for a number of years.
00:10With some beneficiaries through the council and the ward councillors,
00:15we've now put in some preventive barriers, as you can see from the photo itself.
00:20I'm also calling on Walsall Council to abandon the Healthy Spices team
00:25and bring the park rangers back onto these parks.
00:29Without these park rangers, nothing happens on these parks.
00:32The police have been very inactive and that should have been with drones and that.
00:37So it's left to the ward councillors to pursue these anti-social behaviour devices in the parks.
00:44And I can't say enough, bring the park rangers back to these parks.
00:49Let's have some eyes and ears in these parks,
00:52instead of these residents having to complain all the while with anti-social behaviour.
