People of Glasgow share their thoughts on litter issues in the local council area

We ask Glaswegians whether they think there’s a litter problem in the city and whether the council should be doing more.

00:00Next then, is how bad is the litter problem where you live and what do you think the council should be doing about it?

00:06Oh, hell! Stay up in Springburn. I'm moving away at the end of July, I'm moving out.

00:14But up in Springburn, it's shocking, there's litter everywhere. But the worst place out of them all is the city centre.

00:21It's horrendous and yes, because we pay extra money in our council tax, they should be cleaning up more.

00:33There's one particular bit where there's shops and it's absolutely just horrendous, there's litter all over the place.

00:40Definitely, they should be cleaning up more because we're paying extra in the council tax.

00:47It's terrible, there's rubbish everywhere. I think they should do more for the people to come and collect the rubbish. It's terrible.
