00:00Here's Austin Matthews, who actually had the stones to stay after the game that he thought that the Maple Leafs had too many passengers.
00:07He had two shots on goal, and that was about it.
00:10The group has come into this one, Austin.
00:13I felt like we were ready to play. I felt like we were in a good mindset.
00:20Like I said, I thought the first 10 minutes, they came out strong.
00:25The next 10 minutes, I thought we controlled play.
00:27And then I just thought we had too many passengers throughout the rest of the game and just weren't on the same page.
00:38You had two shots on goal.
00:39They get a couple goals and momentum like that, and then you're chasing the game.
00:42And it's hard to get it back when you're down three against a good team that plays sound defensively like them.
00:51So explain to me what he means by too many passengers.
00:54Too many passengers usually means that there wasn't enough guys who were – it's kind of like a nice way of trying to say that there was a lot of guys who weren't bringing it.
01:05You know, there were guys who weren't bringing it is pretty much what he's saying.
01:08And Marner agreed with him that there wasn't enough guys who were taking charge of the game.
01:13They were kind of just sitting back and waiting for somebody else to go and take the game for them.
01:19I think all these guys – Marshawn said it perfectly – all these guys, their heads are all messed up playing in that day.
01:27I bet you if you took any of them out of there, and Marner's going to get the chance to go leave town, Matthews, Marner, any of them, I bet you their lives would be a lot better.
01:36Their lives would be a lot better if they weren't in Toronto anymore playing hockey.
01:39That would be my bet.
01:40Yeah, it seems like it's hell to play there.
