00:00Jason Tatum underwent surgery to repair a torn right Achilles tendon.
00:05That is obviously a season-ending injury, and, you know, that's long rehab.
00:11You're talking next year.
00:11That's a year.
00:12That's a year.
00:14So he will miss all of next year.
00:16He won't play until the following year.
00:18Right.
00:19You know, you put the timeline out there.
00:21Obviously, it's May right now.
00:23You know, the entire regular season next year, minimum, obviously,
00:28they make the playoffs, you're going to bring him back with a playoff.
00:30So if an Achilles tendon injury, I don't know.
00:32But he's going to be out all next year, too.
00:34That's kind of what it comes down to.
00:36That's a tough – that's tough for Tatum.
00:39I don't wish that on anyone, but it doesn't negate the fact that I hate the Celtics.
00:45I know.
00:46I figured that that was going to be.
00:47I just don't care.
00:48You know, I've seen every guy – did we not watch the Knicks implode last year with injuries?
00:53They lost to the Pacers because all their players got injured.
00:57Right?
00:58Like, and so cry me a river.
00:59Cry me a river.
01:01You know, I've heard it all before.
01:02Like, it's funny when it happens to your team, right?
01:05But I'm not going to sit here and cry when your team has a devastating injury.
01:10I don't wish that on anybody.
01:12I don't.
01:13I hate that Achilles.
01:15Knees and ankles.
01:16I don't like talking about them.
01:17I've said it a million times.
01:19But screw the Celtics.
01:21Screw – that's what it comes down to.
01:24So, obviously, no Tatum going forward for the Seas with the Achilles injury.
01:30I'm just glad that we got it on SportsGrid, on coast-to-coast, and not, you know, at 6.15, I'm eating dinner and it pops.
01:39And then whenever that happens to us, I'm having a bad day.
01:42I'm having a bad day.
