With weight loss injections becoming more common, we ask locals if they know anyone who’s tried them and whether they think it’s a good or concerning solution to weight management.

00:00I do know somebody who has tried weight loss injections and no I don't think they're a good idea.

00:05Why? Because it's a life long, it's a continuing for life, it's not a quick fix.

00:14There's terrible side effects to it. You will lose weight in a good space of time

00:20but if you're not inclined to maintain it will go straight back on and make you worse.

00:26If you're doing it just for the purpose of trying to look like everybody else nowadays

00:32because there's a certain type of look that's been normalised nowadays

00:39and everybody just looks the same and you shouldn't try to be like that.

00:43If it's for health purposes, yes.

00:46It can be quite damaging too if you overdo it.

00:50No I don't and they sound bad. I can't say I know anything about them.

00:55But they sound bad and that's all I can say on that.
